I visited Wickes for advice about getting a new shower room and toilet, I spoke to Monika and she was extremely helpful guiding me through the options and giving advice about colour matching and everything I hadn't even thought of. The deal was sealed later and I spoke to Paula who went above and beyond with her customer service. Overall all the employees are extremely helpful and knowledgeable, really happy with the purchase 😁

Paula at Wickes in Edinburgh did a brilliant job of guiding us through the design and purchase of our utility room units. She was so patient and we ended up with units that fit perfectly and look great. Overall the quality is so good for a very reasonable price.

I’ve visited Wickes a couple of times recently, and Kieran has helped me on each occasion. I cannot praise his service highly enough. He is knowledgeable, pleasant and polite, and really goes out of his way to help—even carrying my purchases to the car.

Had a really good experience at Wicks with the the staff advising on a new kitchen design. Monica was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend. Offered an excellent price too, much cheaper than Magnet.

My bathroom was delivered on Thursday 17th September and due to be fitted by Wikes ‘trusted installation team’ on Monday 21st - now into the 3rd week and I am without - a toilet, a shower, a wash hand basin, bathroom cabinets or any of the electrics (although they have tiled so how does that work).
I have been continually gaslighted being told that someone will be onsite and no one has turned up.
I have chased the customer service team and the installer for updates almost daily and the customer service person has had the cheek to tell me the ‘installer has communicated with me very well’ - hmmm don’t think so!
My house is currently a building site - I have no door on the bathroom as they’ve removed it to do the install, the base units, tools and packages are piled up in my spare bedroom and I’m being told after 3 weeks that it’ll be tomorrow!

Absolutely ridiculous! Save your money, save your time, save your health and go somewhere else. Would not wish this experience on anyone!!!

Ordered a bespoke kitchen from wickes. All fine with delivery and joiner came two weeks later to fit it. Went wrong since then with the joiner not working a full day to install kept nipping out for bits and bobs!! My husband already had the units taken out so it was all done for him anyway 7 days later a part missing and joiner signed off as he was going into hospital and had personal issues. No other joiner came but the missing part did. As off writing this we are still waiting for a joiner to finish of the kitchen this has now been 4 weeks!!! After care team was absolutely appalling with one particular person being of no help what so ever and couldn’t have cared less. Our overall experience has really put us off and we were hoping to buy a bathroom and accessories from them but that won’t be happening now.

We needed eight slabs and six bags of sharp sand,as well as cement for a bin storage project.Rithvik Kampli could not have done more, he sourced all of the elements and loaded it for us,nothing was too much trouble,and we both appreciated his “can do”attitude.He’s a credit to the Edinburgh store.🙏

I visited Stevenson Road depot. Spoke to Rik. I told him what I was looking for. He showed me where it was. Loaded it on to my trolley then left my trolly st the checkout while I did more shopping. When I was finshed he helped me load my car. Lovely gentleman and sso helpful

A worker called Misha did a quick and amazing service refunding my lightbulbs

I was looking to buy wooden post caps from Stevenson Road, Edinburgh. The ones on the shelf had splits in them. Rithvik helped me look for the quantity I required without splits. Bhav also helped with the search. Both lads opened a new sack of caps and checked each cap for me to ensure they weren'tdamaged. Both were pleasant and helpful. Staff at the checkout were friendly and helpful, offering assistance out with my shopping.

Served by Rik today. Absolutely fantastic service. Had issues at till with payment method and staff could help any more. Also helped out to my vehicle to help load my purchases. 5 star service

I went to buy compost which was on a good offer. I knew I couldn’t manage to put 6 bags in the car by myself so asked before buying them if someone could help. Pranitha who was on the checkout said she would do it. She couldn’t have been more helpful and pleasant and got the bags in the back of the car. Without her help I would not have been able to buy the compost. Great customer service and very much appreciated.

We had an appointment with the architect, Monika Wutcen. She was friendly and professional, explaining the various options available in a calm and unhurried manner, and outlining the advantages and disadvantages of each solution (including price, durability of materials, and so forth).
She was also incredibly patient, as we repeatedly changed our minds, even towards the very end of the meeting. She went the extra mile by dedicating more time than originally planned (one hour).
We are particularly pleased with her service, as this is our very first home and even the smallest details are important to us.

2 days prior our time was moved from 11 to 10, which was fine.
Met our designer, chatted, he then said he needed to make a call and abandoned us, came back 10 minutes later, showed him our pick but I was confused as it said it was gloss and the sample was matt, he said it comes in matt and took us to his desk. All 3 of us squeezed round it. Took our measurements and then questioned if they were correct twice. Took my phone with pictures and left it on his side of the desk. Designed the kitchen but didn’t ask us for input on anything he put in. Designed the exact same kitchen I had in a different colour which is not what I wanted. Tried to save it and deleted the whole thing. Had to sit while he redid the whole thing. People behind us were offered coffee which we weren’t. Trying to save the 2nd one and there was issues, he then tried to call his colleague and multiple times couldn’t get through. Still couldn’t get design to save. Left and spoke to manager and realised our choice has been discontinued and is no longer an option. Massive waste of my time.

Pranitha at the Edinburgh store was so patient and helpful! Lovely person and a credit to the company. Look after her!
