Fair prices
Fair prices. Always seem to have in stock what I need. Staff for the most part are very knowledgeable them that are not shore will find out. Kay in particular is my go to person very helpful and very knowledgeable

Buying online and only £4 delivery charge
Started to use Wickes several times recently. All online except one visit to the store in Maldon Essex. The £4 delivery charge is exceptional value. Have bought skirting boards, variety of wood, screws, buckets, rollers, sealants and so far no issues. Even bought a special order of 500mm x 3000 x 3mm clear acrylic sheet which is a 6 day delivery and turned up on the 6th day

Needed a 12volt car tyre inflator…
Needed a 12volt car tyre inflator quickly. So I bought Wickes 'Sakuts SS3603 12v compressor. The service in shop was polite and business-like (no complaints on this count), but the product is terrible! A total waste of £14! It was incredibly noisy, and it took an inordinately long time to add a few psi to my grandsons tyre. My advice- DO NOT buy this product, however desperate! Sorry Wickes, this product has let me, and you down.

My partner and I have just purchased a new kitchen through Hazel at Maldon Wickes. She is so helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. She literally helped us throigh every single question and query. She explained everything to us in ways we understood and spent so much time going through all the minor details without pressure or rush. Would recommend Hazel without a shadow of a doubt.

Pick up a couple of other items and when checking out staff more interested in talking to each other the dealing with the customer in front of them
