Wickes - Worcester Avis 

Member of staff at the checkout barely looked at me, didn't reply to my cheery 'hello', and she wandered away to chat to colleagues in the middle of serving me. She did glance in my direction to roll her eyes when I asked for a receipt. On the shop floor I couldn't find anyone to ask a question to. The poorest customer service I've experienced anywhere. Worcester, 27th May 2025 4.30pm

I often shop at wickes as an avid diyer and I came in today to pick up an Einhell sander, Emily informed me that I get a free battery with the purchase, which was news to me as I was going to buy one WHAT A BARGIN!!! thanks so much Emily your a 🌟

I came in today and asked someone where the gardening gloves were, one of your colleagues asked a blonde lady where they were she pointed out that they were on the back wall. I then went to the till and the same lady served me asking no luck with the gloves? I said no, no good I said as I need them for brambles. So she left the till to show me some other gloves which were perfect! Great customer service well done the lady was called Emily

Well I came in today to buy some topsoil as it was on offer but I couldn’t find where it was so a lovely young lady called Emily showed me where it was (I passed it coming in!) she then opened a till for me and helped me put them in the car brilliant customer service! I will look forward to getting some more soil!

A staff member called Emily was very helpful she showed me were the paint was and explained what paint I needed for the Job. Excellent customer service 😊

We’ve just ordered a new kitchen from Wickes having spent quite sometime feeling the task was too great. We were looked after by Katie who did an excellent job coming out, measuring up, designing a kitchen and getting the design spot on first time. She interpreted our needs and met our budget requirements. Excellent service - highly recommend you ask for Katie.

We had our Kitchen designed by Katie at the Worcester branch, the Kitchen was a awkward shape,However
Katie managed to fit in all of our requirements and more.
We are over the moon with the outcome and most importantly it came in within our budget.

We wanted to return a product to change the colour but in error brought the wrong part of the receipt. We asked the assistant to speak to the manager and from there conversations whoever she was speaking to didn't want to come and talk to us. After we went all the way home and found required part of receipt we returned to store to change our items. However because the prices had changed during the week we then had to wait at the till for over five minutes for another manager to change the prices, then along came three of them together. No acknowledgement or apologies just punched something into the till and walked off outside where they stood around having cigarettes. No wonder the staff are so miserable if that's the example.

I have ordered new bigger shed for my garden and obviously needs Sub base, sharp sand and slabs. Went to our WICKES STORE in Worcester as usual.
Very friendly staff. Lady with glasses forgot her name , very informative and kind help me do an order and delivery. Received everything on the day by friendly driver.
Yesterday finished my shed base and tomorrow planing to erect the shed.

He visited our home and gave excellent advice. After a couple of days we visited the store and he had already produced a detailed plan of our kitchen. He made the whole process simple and he is a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family.

Exceptional service from Emily! I wanted some de-ironised water. Rather than hunt for it I asked Emilie who was on a till. She immediately looked it up and took me to where it is on the shelf.

The store at Worcester, is great: kept well stocked, clean and most of the staff are really friendly. Today, I was served by Daniel and have been before. He really puts in the time and effort, he is particularly helpful and a credit to your team.

I have been a trade customer of Wickes for many years now and although most often I have a good experience ....I have to say that on the days a young lady called "Emily" works its always a pleasurable visit.
Emily is a beacon of light within your store she is always Happy and greets everyone with a Smile to brighten even the dullest days she always goes above and beyond to be helpful and its noticable that she is always immaculately turned out in her Wickes uniform.
Emily is 💯 a true Asset to your Worcester store.

I use Wickes almost daily, running a local handyman business (Get it done Worcester) the staff are always very pleasant and helpful. Emily especially, goes above and beyond to help, and always with a smile 😃 I find the prices for most building materials compare well against the larger merchants, and will always be my first point of call for all materials.

As The Worcester Handyman I purchase from Wickes in Worcester almost daily and sometimes more than once in a day.
I can almost always find what I want at a reasonable price & the TradePro discount makes a difference. All the staff are always pleasant & very knowledgeable. A special mention to staff members Emily & David who always go above and beyond with the support & level of service they provide. Highly recommended 👍

Great customer service and friendly staff when I needed help.

I’m currently renovating my property and decided go to wickes to see what oak doors and loft ladders they had.
I asked a member of staff some questions about stock and availability and she was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the products and even helped me pick the door handles.
I also mentioned the style of kitchen I’m planning of doing, and she showed me the kitchen showroom and deals that I could get, she was very informative and clear. So I think I will go with wickes for my kitchen also.
