Sian was excellent, from the initial appointment to it all being confirmed ! We are so so excited for our new kitchen , and the entire process was smooth and Sian knew exactly what we wanted and made necessary changes as needed . We are very happy with this whole process and can’t thank Sian enough for her creativity and determination to making our kitchen perfect . Highly highly recommend to anyone who wants their dream kitchen come to life . Thank you again xx

Fantastic help from Alfie at the Wrexham store. I went in for 35 paving slabs which were not yet on display and were in the storage area. Alfie sorted it all out for me even loading all the slabs onto two trolleys! Alfie even helped to wheel the trolleys to my pickup truck. So nice to have great customer service, Alfie could not have been more helpful - a great experience at Wickes Wrexham!

I went to the store at closing time and was given assistance with which supplies I needed to buy for my home project. I asked for help as i was unsure and may have ended up buying the wrong things. Both Simon and Demi were very helpful staff in assisting me with what I needed.

Been in this morning to get supplies for a complicated floor levelling job - wanted to bulk up a self leveller, kind of knew it wasn’t the right thing to do - had some great advice from one guy, and then he went and got Adam, who was incredibly helpful.
I’m 45 years old, been doing this all my life, and I think Adam was the most helpful guy I’ve come across in my hundreds of visits to DIY shops. He even talked me through using AI to tell me what wickes products I should use for the job, and explaining why I should be filling the bulk in with concrete first, then levelling after - saved me loads of time and money.
He’s a real credit to your store - please can you thank/reward him appropriately.

A well designed kitchen by Hayley at Wrexham Branch who was more than helpful with her patience and suggestions. I had the kitchen fitters through Wickes (led by Mike) who were ace. There was quite a bit of remedial work to complete before the actual kitchen fit (plastering, tile removal, electrical work etc) and they arranged it all. The kitchen was delivered on time and by very pleasant deliverymen. The finished kitchen is fabulous and the units of good quality. I couldn't be more pleased. Definitely a 5 star experience!

Fantastic service from Wrexham store. I applied for the community programme and had a reply quickly to say we were successful. I had great communication off Charlotte Haslam and I think it was Marcus Mitchell that helped me on the day I collected. He loaded the bags into my car and kept the others for me to do a return visit as couldn't get all in my car at same time.

XDP who are their delivery people have let Wickes down as I was supposed to receive my item the next day but it turned up a week later after many attempts to get to the bottom of the delay. Long hold and delays on Wickes customer support phone line. Really disappointing and frustrating.

Wickes Wrexham were kind enough to support our sports club through their community program with a donation of equipment. The support from Charlie and her staff was fantastic.

They didn’t have want I wanted, but the store still has loads of stuff what other people want and the staff was very friendly!

Never too much trouble to help you find things

We are in the process of installing a new kitchen. So far the design stage has been great. Our design consultant Sian, has been out to our house and then went through a thorough design consultation in store. So far we have been very happy with the process, the options given to us and the customer service.

I went into Wickes, Wrexham about 7pm on 30th Octoberr and was looking for something to make a mini photo corner for taking pictures for items i sell online...

A member of staff (Adam) approached me and asked did I need any help - my first thoughts were how friendly and helpful he was.

Adam spend about 15-20 minutes assisting me and went thru different possible solutions to my requirements and even though I told him I wasn't buying anything on that occasion he was still prepared to help me.

Adam was a very good listener and even though I know nothing about DIY he gave me very useful advice and explained the options very straight forwardly...

Adam is a credit to your company - If more DIY shops had staff of Adam's calibre I am positive you would receive more repeat customers.

I look forward to going back to Wickes, Wrexham and I hope the member of staff that serves me is of the same high standards that Adam was.

I feel Adam should be told of my review and praised for being in my opinion "Employee Of The Month"

We went into the store in Wrexham, we went to ask about stock, we were told that that they could not tell us when anymore were coming in as they have to wait till the stock shows zero.
So when you go into the branch and want 8 pairs of door handles but you only have 2 on display none in the warehouse and cannot order as your system does not allow it, this would mean I would have to wait weeks for such a simple job to be done.
I found the staff to be abrupt and all she kept saying can't help with that ,we don't do that I don't have the information on that, and left us standing there.

Bad Customer Experience
Initially choosing a new kitchen from Wickes was quite painless. The young lady was pleasant and helpful with the design and choice.
They are quick to take your cash upon ordering, which is ok if everything goes well.
We had some minor issues with deliveries and a dented sink. Upon completion we were offered a small amount of £200 in compensation. We were happy to accept.
This was in August. Its not the money, its the principal. We have sent many e mails, whereupon the answer is generally an email, a week later, apologising and then saying it will be with us in a few days.
They didn't chase us for their money, we shouldn't have to chase them for ours.
Im glad ours was a minor incident because their after care service is not good.
