Winchester White was an agency I was unfamiliar with. On my first viewing I fell in love with a flat, they knew exactly what I was looking for and checked all the boxes. From there on the process was great and had amazing help from Alessandro!

Working in lettings myself, I have higher expectations of agents than most and right from the first phone call, Becky (Battersea Branch) stood out as 'one of the good ones'. We'd secured another property with a different agency some months back, and just around the corner from our move were delivered the news that the landlord had changed their mind - despite being told by the agency everything was finalised. In a panic, we took to Rightmove and began relentlessly searching for another option which was proving difficult given our tight move in date, higher-than-budget-expectations and a now incredibly busy market. Becky was a delight; she beyond exceeded my expectations and was able to book us in same-day to view the property I enquired on, and we offered on the spot. In a competitive market, you want an agent who will fight your corner to get you the property you want, particularly when there are multiple offers on the table, and Becky and Louis kept us informed every step of the way, answered every question (of which I had many) and stuck with us right over the finish line. We've now moved in and settled into our home, and couldn't be more grateful for her patience, determination and diligence. We're actually so glad the other property fell through - who'd have thought! Looking for a short term rental from abroad can be very challenging. Alessandro Nanni made the process enjoyable and seamless. He has been amazing to work with and has gone above and beyond. Alessandro was great to work with! He found us a flat for a very reasonable rate in one of the most expensive areas of the city. He was easy to work with, always responsive, and made sure everything we needed was in order. He also graciously allowed my mother to tour the property when visiting London for work. I would recommend Winchester White and Alessandro in particular.

I have had a good experience of Winchester White overall. The company specialises in lettings, and is smaller than many other London agents. This makes the experience more personal, and you know who to contact in the different parts of the company, should it regard marketing, contracts, or property management.

I had a great experience working with Winchester White while searching for an apartment in London. Jess was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process—professional, responsive, and invested in helping me find the right place. She made what can often be a stressful experience feel smooth and straightforward. The whole team was professional and supportive.

Overall, I had a mixed experience with this lettings agency. On the positive side, they did a great job representing their clients and showcasing the property — my viewing was well-organised and informative. The agent was professional, courteous, and able to answer all my questions, which made the initial stages of the process smooth and positive. Communication with the team was generally good, and I appreciated how responsive they were throughout.

However, where I feel the agency missed the mark was in how rushed the process felt once things progressed beyond the viewing. There seemed to be little flexibility or understanding around shifting timelines, even when changes were due to personal circumstances. Despite offering to pay the full rent upfront — just 48 hours later than their ideal timeline — I still received follow-ups that felt unnecessarily pushy, especially after I had already confirmed that I would sign the tenancy agreement and pay the holding deposit/admin fee by 11am (two hours later than their requested 9am).

In the end, while they were professional in many ways, a little more understanding and adaptability around timing would have made the experience much more positive.
