I purchased a machine online and they sent me a faulty machine. I asked a replacement they said someone will contact me but no one did. I asked for return and refund because I was within 30 days but since my emails are being ignored despite several reminders for weeks.

We bought one of their Tallboy Cabinets and apart from being nearly impossible to put together it also is the most flimsy and useless piece of furniture.
If Woodies had any confidence in their furniture they would sell them in one piece.
Don't buy that stuff. Go to IKEA instead.

We recently got our kitchen fitted through woodies blackpool and honestly had a really great experience from start to finish.
Our kitchen designer was new to the job, but she was absolutely brilliant to deal with. She was so friendly, helpful, and always kept on top of everything. If she didn’t know the answer to something straight away, she would always go and find out and come back to us quickly, which we really appreciated. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. (Even when my Dad kept asking the same questions during the sign off)
The kitchen fitter was also excellent. He was on time, worked really neatly, and the finished kitchen looks great. What stood out most was that he even came back afterwards to hang shelves for us.
Overall, we’re so happy with the kitchen and would definitely recommend Woodies, Shannon and Keith for anyone thinking about getting a new kitchen done (top tip also if you need help with paint colours afterwards go back and ask Shannon, she had excellent colour recommendations and showed us the colours against the actual kitchen door in the shop)

I bought a prosafe lawn mower from woodies 2.5 years ago, it was out of warranty. I had over thightned the blade on mower, it was ripped off the mower when i used it. brought it to other repair firms they wouldnt look at it as could not get parts for pro-safe. i was expecting it to be scrapped cost €500 but brought it back to woodies, they were very helpfull, took it in, got a price for repair €100. took a few weeks but at this time of year all repair places are busy. only quibble was they never phoned me back to say it was ready, phoning the cork store- calls were never answered but I got through by connecting to the kitchen department. overall the girl i dealth with was great and delighted not to have to chuck an expensive mower due to my own mistake !!!

Terrible customer service!! Placed online order for over €900 two weeks ago for list of items and still waiting an update after 5 emails and also requested a phone call which was never received. Refunded the lawnmower a week after I ordered through a email but still decided to send out the engine oil I ordered, not sure what they expect me to do with oil and no lawnmower. Have received no communication or updates on the balance of my order. Will never shop there again and need to sort out their customer support team

Great service in Woodies Castlebar, compliments to Ross and David who loaded the car and made sure all was in order.

Ordered plants on the 5th May with a 3-5 day delivery. 7 days later, on the 12th of May, got an email saying due to no stock the order won't be fulfilled.

First of all, that email should be sent out same day or next day of the order, not 7 days later. They were a birthday present, and by that time I got that email for no stock I didn't have any time left to make a new purchase.

I explained the situation and all they did was apologize (but in a weird passive aggressive stance?) and offered nothing to help the situation. Customer service had a few misspellings in their message.

I got some garden stuff. Everybody was helpful, Denise, checkout
And Ben helped me carry a heavy bag. He was so nice and helpful

I went to Woodies in Cavan to return a small tin of paint & to purchase two more tins of paint. The staff member didnt know how to do the transaction. After making the mistake of over charging me he got his colleague to deal with me. I found this person to be very impatient & not very customer friendly. When he eventually got it sorted I was looking at my receipt to make sure all was in order he pushed my purchases to one side & dismissed me telling me that he neede to serve the next customer in a very rude manner after taking at least twenty minutes ti sort my problem & Im not even sure that it was done correctly. Had stock of an item i needed urgently, click and collect ready very fast

I visited Woodies in Naas Co Kildare last Saturday May 2026 and I was very satisfied with the customer service from a very nice member of staff named Sarah.Thank you .

Placed order on a monday hoping to have products by the weekend, no joy. The following Tuesday they have finally been dispatched, so much for 2-3 days delivery. (all items in stock and available in store), no excuse for it.

Ordered a liner. After 6 days of waiting I got onto them again. They then started a refund and said I would get it in 5 days along with refund. It's too late I don't want it now. The only reason they are refunding me is cause I spent 10 euro if I bought a lawnmower they wouldn't be so gracious. They are a useless company stay well clear. I'll never buy a thing off them again.

Do not order online… I am unable to get a simple delivery date, the contact number brings you to a lady who can only send an email on your behalf, she has no access to systems and can’t tell you anything about your online order. Fill in the form to query an online order .. you just get a ticket and no one who you can speak to about the tickets or its status .. terrible customer service and at this point I have no idea of when new flooring will arrive. Tried contacting the stores.. Nadda.. woodies it’s an absolute joke.. and not a funny one!!!

Placed an order online for delivery 7 days ago. Received a confirmation email but nothing since. Have emailed and phoned several times but hearing nothing back. Eventually got through to a manager in the Drogheda store. Spoke to her. She said she’d get my number to the online store and have them call me. Have heard nothing.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Appalling to deal with. And the staff are just rude!

Just a shoutout to the management in Carrickmines Woodies store to mention a wonderful sales assistant you have on the tills called Thomas . he must be only about 19-20 a lovely polite young man, very helpful and remembered my son from a visit the previous week.
My son is Joe and he has Down Syndrome so he was so excited when Thomas remembered him and it made his day.

Please pass on my thanks to him - a credit to his parents and the store.

Absolutely awful online shop. I ordered some bedding plants. I had to email them after a week as I hadn’t gotten a delivery date. They have now cancelled it after 10 days stating that none of the plants are in stock, not any of them. They did the same thing last year. Last time I shop there.

Looking to drop off old electric lawnmower and two separate employees asked me was I purchasing a new one before reluctantly saying they will take the old one. Obviously coming from the top down. I reminded them you pay the wee charge when you buy the item . A disgrace

Ordered a storage container for outdoor cushions, no indication given as to when to expect the item. When the item eventually arrived it was broken in bits. Contacted customer services via email as it is impossible to find a phone number to call. Got a generic email back to say they would look into it. 4 emails from myself later with absolutely no response from Woodie’s. DPD showed up to collect the item (no communication that they were coming) and refused to take it as I had not sealed the item. I explained that there was no communication they didn’t care told me to seal it and they would come back. Still don’t know if I am getting a refund. Never order from this website kicking myself for not reading the reviews.

I would like to thank the wonderful staff in woodies in the castlebar store. Especially Collette at the service desk. There all so polite and so helpful
I shop regularly in woodies in castlebar and I found all the staff so helpful and so willing to go the extra mile when assisting me and other customers with their purchases. I recently bought a fabulous water feature and they couldn't do enough to help assist from advising me, dealing with me and loading my new water feature into my car.
