This site is despicable, not suited for upstanding folks that wish to be treated well.

I foolishly assumed that Amazon's association with Woot would make it a reasonable place to consider making purchases from. My first purchase of a "factory refurbished" item yielded something that appeared like it was pulled from a trash bin. I thought I'd give them another chance, and bought a brand new Dyson V15. It never arrived, and tracking showed that UPS received an undeliverable, open, empty box which UPS discarded and set up a claim with the sender. You would think Woot would inform me, they did not. I initiated a claim, which is still unresolved. Instead of refunding me, which they indicated they would eventually do, they are spending all their time with UPS and ignoring the fact that I am out my purchase fee and the product. So, I have to pay the credit card bill or open a dispute. I opened a dispute which should resolve itself within 90 days. I will never buy anything from Woot again.

Do NOT buy Factory Reconditioned - It is a scam

Bought a computer and received parts that are far weaker than advertised. Contacted the manufacturer, MSI, and they ran my serial number, confirming MSI were the ones that placed the weaker parts in my PC and they don't care. Woot tried to give me a partial refund but placed it on the wrong item, one that hasn't even shipped yet. I called to have them put the partial refund on the correct item and got told "just leave it as is and hope nothing is wrong with the new item." WELL, that got my order cancelled after spending two weeks thinking my order would be fine. They sell computers with low grade parts replacing the advertised higher grade ones - it is a complete scam. Also, to everyone saying you can't contact them by phone, YES, you can, you just aren't looking hard enough. Doesn't change the fact my experience has been terrible.

E commerce site with lots of problems

Awful in running website technically. Staff do not check what they sell for specs - they mainly ship or arrange drop shipping. In some instances different specs from ads. In rare but too often instances beyond recommended sell by date. Some software install codes problematic In very rare instances sketchy hardware source suppliers not adequately checked. Shocking it is part of Amazon.

Don’t buy a tv from them

Whatever you do, do not buy a major electronic from Woot. Bought an expensive tv, and four months later, it is a giant black box hanging on my wall. Woot refuses to help because it is past 90 days and the manufacturer is giving me the run around on the one year warranty. It is looking more and more like I’m just out $1000. Plan to file a federal consumer complaint, but don’t want others to experience this headache.

Total scam

Total scam. They take your money after you order your item then at the last minute, delivery day, switch it to something completely different and say sorry about that, hopefully the completely different item we sent will work for you. Completely different experience than the positive experiences I have with it's parent company Amazon. Beware.

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever. Items often have no tracking, sometimes they don't show up at all. Good luck reaching someone. Also, their coupons codes never seem to work.

Awful joke of a company

Awful joke of a company. Denied my order bc I was shipping to a different address then what's on my credit card. I should be able to send things wherever I like, especially FURNITURE that I don't feel like hauling to my kids house an hour away. Now everything I tried to order is sold out. I know who not to try to do business with again.

Lost package and Woot won't respond to return $9 back

Order was marked “Package Lost” by the carrier. I contacted Woot support twice with no response and had to dispute the charge with my bank to get a refund. Very frustrating experience for a simple $9 order. I expected better communication from Woot. I've waited almost a month for this item with no updates from woot.

I have been buying stuff from them for so many years it's not funny never had any issues I had two broken TVs they took care of them almost instantly no issues with customer service at all I love the place and I'm happy it exists.

Extremely disappointed in Woot

Extremely disappointed in Woot. I have used them for years, and in the past have had no issues returning damaged goods. I purchased a device with a long warranty. It broke, and I contacted the manufacturer. They said (and I quote), "Woot is not authorized to sell New Devices". Contacted woot as their product page explicitly calls out this LONG warranty, and they are saying it's a manufacturer problem. What the heck is going on with woot customer service? It's abysmal now - at least in this case.

I will not purchase from Woot ever…

will not be purchasing from Woot again.
I placed an order for a monitor on November 25. After weeks without any shipping update, I contacted customer service to ask how much longer it would take. The item was finally shipped on December 16. However, for no clear or valid reason, my order was canceled on December 18—the day before the monitor was scheduled to be delivered.
This experience has been extremely disappointing. The delay, lack of communication, and last-minute cancellation demonstrate very poor customer service. Despite Woot operating under the Amazon brand, there appears to be no effective way to escalate or file a meaningful complaint through Amazon directly, other than contacting Amazon Pay.
Using Amazon’s name gives the impression of reliability and accountability, yet this experience reflects poorly on that brand. Canceling an order after it has already shipped is unacceptable, and the overall handling of this purchase has made me lose confidence in Woot as a company.

Purchased a sound bar from them. Great packaging and quality at 75% OFF. No issues with transaction or packing.

4 stars instead of 5 as their parent company (amazon) has much better contact options.

It may be associated with amazon but…

It may be associated with amazon but that is all. Tracking number doesn’t work, no phone assistance and sending an email to no one is not helpful. It feels like i dropped my money down the toilet. I’ve been waiting half a month for my order. The receive date is past due 2 days, the tracking number is apparently fake. I doubt these Christmas gifts will arrive. Thanks woot for a negative experience.

I’ve been a loyal Woot customer since…

I’ve been a loyal Woot customer since 2008, buying everything from T‑shirts to electronics without issue. Unfortunately, my experience changed when I purchased digital goods. In 2023 and 2024, I spent about $200 on Xbox Game Pass codes. I redeemed some right away and saved others, as I usually do. When I tried to use the saved codes later, more than 60% had already been cracked, re‑sold, or used.

This is unacceptable. Digital codes should never “expire” or be re‑sold once purchased. Woot’s 30‑day return policy makes no sense for digital goods, since problems often surface months later when you actually try to redeem them.

After years of trust, this experience has made me very cautious about buying digital products from Woot. I’ll continue to be careful moving forward.

Phishing Scam

Scam Company. Very sketchy and promises very cheap prices but you need to provide Amazon login. It's a phishing SCAM! DO NOT LOG IN! You can kiss your Amazon account goodbye since they will steal everything they can and lock you out.

crooks

Bought a portable a/c from this collection of crooks a few years ago. Worked great for about a week, then became intermittent and failed completely shortly thereafter. Messaged woot in an attempt to get a replacement or refund. They responded to my first email in a way that lead me to believe that they would honor their return policy then just ignored me. Totally dishonest company that you should avoid completely.

I ordered black shoes, got beige. Still haven't gotten it resolved and I have sent 4 emails. I did get a response with them asking for my order number despite using the "help" on the order itself.

Received totally different items than what I ordered

I ordered 2 Lego Christmas Table Decorations - I received a 11x14 Solid Wood Picture frame and White Weather Stripping.

I'm not sure how they could be this incompetent. Seriously need other people packaging the orders.
