ho fatto un acquisto di pupe di Zerynthia, che mi è arrivato (dopo che la dogana ci ha messo del suo ,bloccandolo per giorni) in un pacchettino di una fragilità ridicola, che ha ricevuto dei colpi che hanno ridotto le povere creature in briciola.
alla mia richiesta di risarcimento ed al mio suggerimento di fare imballi miglioriamo hanno risposto che l'acquisto è a rischio dell'acquirente,e che ,in via eccezionale avrebbero rispedito via aerea.dopo alcuni giorni, al mio sollecito hanno risposto che avevano deciso di non rispedire nulla,olre al danno anche la presa in giro!

I have been buying livestock from this company for decades. I met Robert Gooden on a few occasions back in the 80’s. I have now made two orders in the past year and neither have come and there has been no notification. Written 4 e mails with no reply and wondering what has changed?

Scammers. I ordered a year ago, never got the pupae or the money back.
They don't reply to e-mails also.
Seems that they write the good reviews themselves from time to time, so they can get people to order and lose their money.

Ordered my second lot of atlas moth eggs on 04/10/2025 as the availability stated "NOW". I received an email to let me know they had been dispatched on Monday the 6th, they arrived next day on Tuesday the 7th. Once again great service, kept me informed and delivered quickly. After having negative experiences with other companies leaving me without moths or my money I'm very glad to have found WWBF!

I’d give them Zero
I’d give them Zero. No care in the products send, hatched in transit and half lost before I even received them. The rest all died after despite best efforts to care for them. They provide no care instruction and they do this on purpose to shrug off any accountability. They are rude and dismiss you when this happens, ZERO accountability and just fob you off. Very quick to take your money but if you have any issues they simply do not care. I’d advise avoid them and use someone else. They are terrible.

Ordered some Elephant hawk moth eggs…
Ordered some Elephant hawk moth eggs which arrived in good time within a couple of days these started to hatch and we now have a good number of health caterpillars munching away on their favourite food. All good, have recommended to a couple of friends. Keep up the good work.

Orders not received and they do not respond to my emails asking for a refund. Customer service is terrible
extremely negative experience
The chrysalises arrived already hatched and dead, as you can see from the attached photos.
Having spent 35 pounds for express shipping, there was probably some problem with the travel times or in calculating the preparation and subsequent sending of the material. I sent them some emails to clarify what happened and ask for an amicable resolution of the unpleasant event but, unfortunately, I have not received an answer. I strongly advise against purchasing from this online store!

Excellent. I first purchased the butterfly sleeve which works really well, then I ordered some comma caterpillars which arrived promptly and all appear well. I really appreciate that someone is doing something about our declining butterfly population by educating and by breeding butterflies to add to the wild population

Just been there today for my wife's…
Just been there today for my wife's birthday with my 6 and 4 year old. Been promising them for ages to take them to a butterfly farm and that place came up trumps. Ryan the guide was an absolute superstar and made the girls feel so welcome holding butterflies, the tarantula, the snakes and stroking the gecko to feeding the fish. I think the girls would've stayed all day if they could. We will be returning
Paid back in August 2023
Paid back in August 2023, never received my order, when I chased it up they eventually replied saying that they would send in summer 2024 when the butterflies were next in season. Never received anything, have emailed numerous times with no reply. In essence they steal your money and just ignore you when you ask for a refund, surely that is illegal?
Just to update, I have reported them to trading standards, and urge everyone with the same experience to do the same, we should not let them get away with just taking people's money

I waited 3 months only to be sent a short message saying look at order. Now over a year later still nothing, no replies to messages and no refund.
Hit and miss
After having good experiences before I placed three more orders. I have now been waiting a year, expected date has been and gone and no contact at all. I was happy to wait to be able to have a chance to rear some of their amazing species they have online, but when the date came and went with no contact I started worrying. Trying to dispute the orders with bank but because it’s been so long not even sure if that will work.
No response to emails and I can’t see any other way to contact them. They need to stop selling stuff they don’t actually have in stock.
Such a shame because the selection they do have is the best.
I ordered 2 tiger yellow swallowtail…
I ordered 2 tiger yellow swallowtail and 10 cinibar moths. The tiger yellowtails died and they replaced for free!. Quick customer service and in my opinion a good ethical butterfly/moth raising farm.
Now, I did order 10 cinibar moths and only 2 hatched. Not too familiar with the moths. So wait until spring 2025.

I have ordered from WWB for many years
I have ordered from WWB for many years, multiple orders every year. I think people need to understand that pupae, eggs etc are living things and as such are subject to changes. The weather, food supply, all kinds of things can affect the availability of each type of butterfly/moth etc each season. Usually if they are unavailable one season your order is rolled over to the next season and it states this on the website.
My orders were always well packed, usually good notice was given. You do have to be careful to ensure you are placing an order you actually want to receive and that you will be there to receive it, i.e. don't place an order and then go on holiday for a week or even a few days. Keep an eye on the dispatch dates, which gets updated as information is received. You are being sent living things through the post, and they will not survive in a box either at the post office or in your letter box awaiting your return, or even for a couple of days if the weather is too hot or too cold.
Generally speaking all of my orders were delivered at the specified dates and all were healthy and viable. They were all well wrapped with care and none were damaged in the post. I have ordered many times and would order again.

Mi e’ arrivato un pacchetto di carta schiacciata, all’interno trovo un pezzo di scottex tutto sporco di sangue, apro e vedo un agglomerato di creature spiaccicate tutte assieme che nn si capiva nemmeno che animale fosse, mi dovevano arrivare cinque pupe, mi sono arrivati dei cadaveri in un pezzo di scottex .. non ho parole … allegherei il video per fare vedere l’orrore della mia esperienza … ovviamente non mi risponde nessuno alle mail..niente rimborso nulla … robe da denuncia …..
Customer support non-existent
My previous experiences with this company had been positive. I ordered some larvae over a year ago, knowing they would not be available for another six months or so. At the expected time, I received no larvae and my order was still showing as pending. Now, they are no longer on the website and my order is still pending. I have contacted through the website and by email to see whether this species will be offered again. I have received no response. I would have been happy if they contacted me to arrange a substitution.

Ordered in October 2023 and I haven't got it. Availability was Autumn, haven't got my order. Now the availability is January/February. February is ending and still nothing. Do not recommend, it is an absolute scam!!!.
