Just avoid. Unprofessional and unhelpful
I tried to book a Wynwood House apartment in Madrid from Portugal, and the experience was a mess from start to finish. The website repeatedly blocked my booking with an “invalid phone number” error, even though my number was correct. At no point did the site clearly state the real issue: a 10‑night minimum stay for the property. Instead, it hid behind a misleading error message and wasted a lot of my time.
When I contacted Wynwood House on WhatsApp, I dealt with a representative called Samul. Rather than taking ownership or actually resolving the problem, he gave slow, unhelpful responses and only eventually admitted that the real reason I couldn’t book was the 10‑night minimum. By this point I had tried to book around ten times because their system had led me to believe my phone number was the problem, not the stay length.
Samul then suggested an alternative property and sent me another link, which also didn’t work properly. That completely destroyed any remaining confidence I had in their systems. His “solution” after all this was to ask for my email address, passport or ID number, and full name so he could create a manual booking—essentially asking me to hand over sensitive personal details to work around their broken IT. At no stage did I feel genuinely helped, listened to, or respected as a customer.
In the end I gave up and booked with Airbnb instead. This experience showed me a company with unreliable technology, misleading error messages, and a service agent who did the bare minimum while expecting me to keep jumping through hoops. Based on this, I wouldn’t recommend Wynwood House and I have no interest in trying to book with them again.
