Great team
Andrew and the team were quick to get in touch and were very knowledgeable. I got maybe even a little more than expected even though they noted a few minor issues with the car which I had completely somehow missed. It was a no fuss no stress car sale and I would definitely use them again if the need ever arose.

We booked to view a car and travelled an hour to see it . When we arrived the vehicle had a scratch to the passenger side wing mirror which would need replacing also scratches on the bumper and also scratches on the front. Deep scratches, scratches,
You did not advertise this in your video and did not make any comment regarding the work that would need doing this is not normal wear and tear .!!! You wasted our time as it took us an hour to get to you .
You need to advertise your cars correctly !!!! I have photos to prove this

We are not surprised to get your feedback Claire after your numerous threats to do so. However, we are surprised as to how incredibly angry and spiteful someone can get when things don’t go their way.
As always we like to reply and add some balance to anyone who happens to read your review. In summary, Claire Drew’s expectations were not met with our 2 owner, 50,000 mile, 6 Year old, used Mercedes A-Class.
The feedback I’ve had here, your son seemed delighted, but short of lots of money off, you were extremely cross; Which seems a great shame given that it was a festive and relaxed Easter Saturday that you visited, and your Son was clearly excited for his drive home.
I certainly acknowledge the fact that three scratches reside in the plastics of this Mercedes. Funnily enough, you will find most pre owned vehicles do have some marks. All have been neatly touched up. All are shown clearly in the photographs and the video - but in your defence; maybe it was your son that looked at these and not you?
We do advertise our cars very accurately Claire. In fact, we have not only managed to make a living doing this over the 13 years in business, but accumulate well over 1,000 five star reviews in that time. Must be luck.
In brief summary: Expectations were clearly mismanaged somewhere between Essex and Kent, but aside from speaking with you directly (after your Son) to urge you to check our photographs and video before travel; It’s quite tough to see how my experienced Sales Team could have changed this distasteful outcome and your nasty reviews.
‘Sometimes the best deals that you do are the ones you don’t do’ - I think that possibly applies in this situation.
Wishing you well with your onward search - with a strong recommendation of doing this closer to Essex to avoid the journey, and possibly with you personally checking the marketing (as well as your Son) to avoid disappointment.

Went back to Your Best Car to trade-in…
Went back to Your Best Car to trade-in my car, which I bought from them, for a newer version. Initial contact via email was quick and efficient and booking an appointment for a viewing and test drive was so easy. Jamie showed me the car and we went out for a test drive. Agreed a price and good price given for my trade-in.
Paperwork was completed efficiently. Had a follow up call a few days later.
Service was excellent and when the time comes for a newer car this will be the first, and probably only, stop…
Highly recommended.

I see this BMW 3 series about a month before I…
I see this car about a month before I finally decided to buy it, it seemed to good to be true what with the mileage, condition etc. I hoped it would be there after my op and to my surprise IT WAS.
I managed to get my own finance and then booked an appointment and subsequent test drive. Jack gave me a call back and booked me in, as I pulled up and walked to the showroom I see the car and I knew lol. I’m having that I thought to myself, test drive and look around done. The wife had a huge smile which completely made my mind up!
Jack was very helpful, open and honest ( I asked if he could move on the price and he politely smiled and declined, I knew it was a good and far price to be honest. Still don’t ask don’t get lol).
I’m chuffed to bits with car ! It’s stunning and I would thoroughly recommend Your Best Car to buy a car from, impressive site and even more impressive people to deal with.

AVOID this dealership in medmenham
Unless you want to lose your hard earned cash
Very long story short, I bought a car from your best car last year that started showing multiple electrical problems within the first week, they would only agree to pay for the repairs if I used their recommended garage (full circle) the car had been to them 3 times and they failed to repair , the fourth attempt was to have the car stripped down to find the faults , when the car arrived they refused to do anything as “ the booking “ was never confirmed , when I spoke to them they said they had never done this sort of repair before on a car like mine even though their website states they can repair any electrical fault as they have experienced qualified staff !
This dragged on for months so I decided not to let an inexperienced garage strip my car apart and had to go elsewhere to resolves all the issues with it
I also had a blowout within a few weeks of driving the car because I later found out they sold it to me with 2 bald front tyres that were close to the legal limit , lucky I wasn’t on a motorway at the time !
After reading their reviews this is not the first time they have done this
AVOID this dealership !

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We would like to give some balance for those reading and give our side of the story. We’re sorry to hear about our clients concerns and appreciate the opportunity to provide some additional context for clarity.
Following the purchase, we did not receive any communication regarding ongoing issues with the vehicle between June 2025 and October 2025. During this period, the car covered over 4,500 miles, which suggests it was in regular use without reported fault.
From October onwards, we have made consistent efforts to support you and address concerns raised. This includes replacing the vehicle’s battery under warranty after a low voltage warning message appeared. We also covered the cost of a DPF replacement—despite this typically being considered a wear-and-tear item and falling outside of the 6-month warranty period we provide. At that stage, the vehicle had covered over 8,000 miles since purchase.
It is also important to note that when the DPF work was carried out in January 2026, the electrical issue currently being referenced was not present or identified. The vehicle was performing correctly.
In February, we arranged three separate bookings to further inspect the vehicle. Two of these appointments were cancelled by the client, and one was unfortunately impacted by a communication issue on our side, for which we apologise.
Cars are mechanical, they can and do go wrong however on the balance of evidence, I am unable to see how we could have done much more. I think all we are guilty of is failing to confirm a booking.

Purchase of a VW Arteon on PCP
I recently purchased my car on a PCP finance agreement through Your Best Car and the whole experience has been excellent from start to finish. The team were transparent throughout, taking the time to explain the process clearly and ensuring I understood all my options before committing.
The application was straightforward and handled efficiently. On collection day, everything was prepared in advance, the car was exactly as described, and the handover process was smooth and professional.
I’m really pleased with both the vehicle and the service I received. If you’re considering buying a car on PCP finance, I’d definitely recommend this dealership for their friendly approach, clear communication, and honest advice.

Volvo XC40 - Purchase Jan 2026
Recently completed the purchase of a Volvo XC40 from Your Best Car, Kent. Jack was very helpful - arranged to meet me at short notice for the initial viewing. The vehicle itself was beautifully presented and I was able to place deposit immediately. Jack also arranged to pick me up from the local train station on handover day and assisted me in setting up mobile pairing, Sat Nav etc. I am happy to recommend them,

Great selection of luxury vehicles that comes with a relaxed buying experience.
My partner and I had to travel down from the Midlands, so we decided to make a day of it and spend time in London. Jamie Hatton, the dealer who was handling the sale, collected us from the train station in a comfortable and spacious vehicle, which we thought was a nice touch. The experience continued to be very relaxed with no pressure or hard sale placed on us.

I thought i found a best car for wife…
I thought i found a best car for wife from these guys NOT.
Long story short.
I’ve been in contact with Jack few days before we decided to head down 140miles to see BMW 1 series (Blue).
He was very friendly and helpful over the phone.
On the day of appointment we arrived late due to accident on the road so we got there at 5pm. (Closing time 6pm).
The car was in excellent condition as we could see at night but im not about that.
Red flag 1 : The engine was not cold at the time of inspection it was already at normal operating temperature. Been told that brake discs were rusty so he wanted to get them clear.
Red flag 2 : I was not allowed to carry out a diagnostic check of the vehicle
Red flag 3 : NO TEST DRIVE !!! (I have not been informed) The seller refused to allow me to conduct a test drive. I was only allowed to sit in the passenger seat while the seller drove the vehicle.
What a shame !
I have never experienced a situation like this before, where after travelling a long distance I was not allowed to properly inspect the vehicle.
The entire day was wasted.
I do not recommend this car dealer to anyone, unless you are willing to buy a car based on photos.

In your own words:

To add some balance for our future clients reading this review I will respond to your “Red Flags” below:
Red Flag 1:
When we have a viewing at short notice, a couple things happen.
1. We go and start our car and drive it down to our local roundabout and back again. This does a few things cleans off the brake disks, we check for any low-pressure tyre warnings, and we also check the fuel level at this point to make sure there is ample for the customer to get home.
2. We then do a full valet on the car before it is driven back around to our viewing area.
As a byproduct of these steps, the car will be slightly warm at that point. Again, we have not done this to hide anything, this is purely down to getting the car ready at short notice.
Red Flag 2:
We welcome all inspections. As long as they are by trained Automotive Professionals.
We do not welcome an eBay Code reader to be plugged into our cars. Any of them. Genuinely, would you let someone you don’t know, who isn’t trained, plug something into the “brain” of your personal car?
We simply cannot risk somebody who isn’t a professional plugging into one of our vehicles - particularly as the device to do so, if not configured or used correctly, can ruin an expensive Engine Control Unit. We had this exact issue two years ago with a Jaguar – a client plugged in their cheap OBD reader, which caused a few warning lights on the dash. We then had to recover the car to Jaguar, and pay to have them removed and the unit reprogrammed. Never again will we make that mistake.
Red Flag 3:
We haven’t offered test drives, nor have we needed to on our nearly new cars (many still under manufacturer warranty) since 2019. We understand this does not work for everyone. I personally did the research before making the switch in December 2019. However, of the 893 people we asked, only 3% would need a test drive prior to purchasing one of our cars. This meant we could use that extra time preparing our cars to a very high standard, and in turn, advertise them with more detailed pictures and an in-depth walk-around video. In summary, we have had over 1,000 positive 5-star reviews since that date. We would not last very long in business if we were indeed trying to hide something from our clients.
It is also worth pointing out “the elephant in the room” and the real main reason we did not do business Edvinas. You were okay with all of our processes up until your Part Exchange value.
We have guide prices for cars, and other tools, similar to what you yourself can use on We Buy Any Car, Autotrader etc. You wanted a full £2,000 more than the guide price for your car. A full £2,150 more than We Buy Any Car. A price that would mean, we as a dealer would have to pay more than what we can buy them directly on Autotrader for. In order for us to “win” your business and to transact with you, we would need to pay more than retail for a car that has been “Self Serviced” in the past 6 years with no proof, and with various other detracting features, such as your car reeking of cigarette smoke.
In summary, we’re genuinely sorry that you weren’t able to overcome your own objections to buy a nearly new BMW ‘in excellent condition’ from our very friendly Salesman - Jack. As in your own words, it is a full £1,000 cheaper than the next best example, in the colour that you wanted, and with a slightly higher specification than similar examples you had seen closer to home. It seems a real shame to have missed out on this special example.
In our opinion, and to save yourself some time, it might be worth being transparent on your own car before travelling to your next dealer.
