We are sorry that the shade was not what you personally expected, but this review contains several misleading statements that require clarification.

“Antique Brass” is not one standardised colour. Our professional colour database contains more than 60 different options associated with that description, ranging from yellow-gold shades through to much darker brown tones.

You selected and ordered the specific colour code RAL 080 70 50, and that is precisely the colour we mixed and supplied. With bespoke paint, the exact colour code must be checked before ordering, as we cannot know which of the many variations a customer has imagined from a descriptive name.

The paint itself was £15 plus VAT—not £27 for one tin as stated. The £27 total included VAT and delivery to your address.

For clarity, Dave did not suggest that you reorder from us. He advised you to verify the precise colour code required before ordering from any other supplier, to prevent the same disappointment occurring again.

Had the paint not matched the code ordered, we would have investigated it as a mixing error. In this case, the correct selected colour was supplied—the issue was the choice of shade, not the manufacture of the paint.

Thank you for taking the time to update your review. We are sorry that your experience was affected by issues with the courier. We understand how frustrating delivery delays can be, and we always work with customers to resolve these situations as quickly as possible.

For clarity, all spray paints supplied by Your Spray Paints are mixed, filled and packaged by our own team in the UK. We use established UK suppliers for raw materials, but every finished product is produced by us to the customer’s specification.

During your order we provided the full courier tracking information and supported you with the updates we received from the carrier. We always aim to be clear, responsive and helpful, and we are sorry if our communication did not come across that way to you.

For clarity, your order was dispatched in full and within the expected time frame. We also sent follow-up emails regarding delivery and the items included, so we are concerned that our responses may not have reached you. Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry that your experience with the delivery process was frustrating — courier issues can be inconvenient, and we do understand how disappointing that can feel.

For clarity, your order was dispatched promptly and DHL attempted delivery twice at the address provided. When no one was available to receive the parcel, it was taken to your local DHL Service Point for collection. DHL also issued a card and electronic updates to notify you, and we supplied you with the tracking details to help you collect it.

Your details were provided to DHL as part of the shipment, and the order had remained available for collection since their second delivery attempt. We have always been happy to assist and provided the information needed to retrieve the parcel.
