I was arranging a trip to South African and having to keep getting new prices for changing dates and schedules but Michael was always helpful and very professional. Also being able to pay a low deposit with the balance due in 6 months and the ability to phone up and pay off bits at a time was fab and allowed us to upgrade, downside there was a small difference in the cost of the flight for this privilege but for us it was worth it (circa £150 on a £4200 booking).

I spoke with Dale and found him to be very professional, polite and he really went out of his way to help find me the best deal.
He rang back when promised and I would be happy to use the company again

To be honest, I usually only come onto TrustPilot when I've had a really bad experience with a company. 99% of the time; myself & I bet many others wouldn't come on here to praise a company for going above and beyond.

I was so blown away with YourTravel I simply had to leave my opinion - my first ever 5 star review as well. When booking trips away, I am usually my own travel agent. I look up a hotel I fancy in a country I want to go to, then I'll look at suitable flights around that time, chopping and changing dates to try and get the best deal. Using all the common sites, Hotels.com / Expedia / then Easyjet & the like. It got the job done and I was usually satisfied, albeit it takes some time - but I usually thought I got a decent deal as I would have thought these sites rely on high volume and low margin sales to get by.

I wanted to plan to go to Japan again, and I simply didn't have the time to go through my usual process. A friend of mine recommended YourTravel. I liked the look of their website, and I liked the fact it would be a bespoke/tailored service from an actual person, rather than a search script telling me where the best place would be to stay. Naturally, I had my reservations as I thought it would be expensive as top service is always a byproduct of decent profit margins.

A chap called John was dealing with my request - extremely professional, obviously a lot of experience as he mirrored my personality over the phone, I felt very comfortable with this. I'm not a fan of forced professionalism as it usually seems false & ungenuine. I told John I wanted to visit Japan again, and that I've been a few times already. I fancied something a little more authentic rather than a run of the mill hotel. I left him to his devices and got back to me with the most amazing little Ryokan style hotel, close to the main Yamanote train line, and easy access from Haneda airport. As I requested once off the plane, I didn't want to be travelling hours on end to my accommodation. He delivered!

John gave me the price for the hotel, and gave me a choices of available flights with BA. I'm not going to publish the prices here, as they are obviously bespoke and change with seasons and market patterns, but to say I was shocked was an understatement. The haggle part of me didn't even show, I even thought he must have made a mistake, so I pretty much tore his arm off. I then received my very impressive booking pack (never had one of these before!), and I'm now looking forward to going away in a few months. Zero stress, a secure feeling and I actually felt cared for.

So, John, & all at YourTravel - thanks so much for the outstanding service. I'll bring you all back a bottle of Sake from the land of the rising sun, that's if I don't stay there!!

This company's kind of 'low key' website caught my eye. As a regular long-haul flyer, I thought it prudent to at least put it to the test.
My requirements were quite specific with little flexibility.
Yet, with patience and understanding, all were accommodated in full and at a lesser cost than competitive quotations.
Have now made the booking with confident expectations.
On return to the UK, I hope to be able to post a satisfactory review.

To be perfectly honest as the price was so much better than other companies I had quote on my trip I was expecting problems. I am pleased to say that there wasn't a single problem at all and I will definitely use again. Polite staff over the phone made the whole booking process painless. If you are reading this because you're unsure who to book with, then I'd stop looking and book with "your travel group".
