I recently visited the office in North Finchley in order to make an appointment to see a solicitor. On entering the office I was told by a very unfriendly Receptionist to sit down and wait in a very condescending manner. When I explained to her what I had come in to make an appointment for she said "We don't walk-ins". This is my second experience of rude and unprofessional behaviour in this office. I will not be returning.

YVA represent the buyer of my property and their communication has been appalling. Very slow to respond to my own solicitor's questions and chasers for updates. Radio silence for a 48 hour period during exchange week. Refuse to pick up phone to my agent and solicitor. YVA failed to advise the buyer on basic fundamentals of house buying e.g. timescales and moving deposit funds into a client account in good time. YVA's actions have meant exchange deadline has been missed. No doubt the buyer shares a large portion of the blame for this, but with better guidance from their solicitor a lot of the problems could have been averted. If I was advising a first time buyer, I would steer them well away from YVA.

No question was ever too much for her, she met all my needs in a professional, efficient and caring manner. She has a very patient attitude ensuring that I would be 100% happy with the purchase of my forever home. Currently on cloud 9

Extremely slow to respond to myself and the buyer’s solicitor, nearly impacting the sale at one point. Would not recommend.

My family and I have used YVA solicitors several times now and had a good experience each time. I would like to thank Paul in particular as he dealt with my flat sale and house purchase. It took two and a half years to finally sell my property and complete on a new one after things fell through twice. Paul dealt with all enquiries promptly and efficiently. He was easy to talk to, very understanding, helpful and patient, responded to my questions and concerns, kept me informed throughout and couldn’t have done more to get things done. I can’t recommend him highly enough and wouldn’t hesitate to use him again. I would also like to thank Chris for his help in getting wills updated at very short notice when my husband was dying and in dealing with probate.
