Very good driving instructor Dave Kay couldn’t ask for anyone better to teach me to drive very strongly recommend to anyone wanting to drive

I just passed my driving test with Richard and I would highly recommend him. I had a lot of issues with nerves which he helped me to overcome. He was very patient and provided me with some really useful coping strategies. He helped me build my confidence and skills and I felt really well prepared for my test. His friendly and calm manner was great and I can’t thank him enough.

I've been having lessons for quite a while with David Rivers, not to any fault of his, it was just my speed of learning and dealing with my own hesitations on the road, and today I passed my test on the second try (i failed my first attempt due to a no win situation on the road). I could not of passed without the help of David, I've had previous lessons with another driving company and didn't make any progress after months, I had zero confidence in my own abilities and started to believe I just wasn't meant to drive....enter David Rivers and I was driving with confidence after just a few lessons 😊 Thank you to David and Xpert Driver Training, I have so many adventures to look forward to now

Really great experience, 100% recommend! David has been an excellent instructor, very patient and always helpful whenever there was something I needed to focus on and learn. It took me a while to build up my skills and confidence, and now I've passed my test! I couldn't have hoped for better support along the way.
Flexible with lessons which was great as somebody who works full-time.

Richard is an amazing instructor, he's very patient and spends a lot of time helping you think for yourself and realise your own mistakes rather than simply telling you what to do.
Honestly the best instructor anyone could ask for. Would 100% recommend to anybody.

I had Richard as my instructor and over the past year, it's been fun, interesting and often crazy to see how much I've learnt and become more confident in my driving! From learning how to make left turns to speeding down the sliproad onto the dual carriageway, Richard has been supportive, kind but also instructive to help me improve where I need to. He has also considered more personal things that effect my driving, such as anxiety on making the right manoeuvres or rushing and making mistakes because of that. While it took two attempts to pass my test, I came back resilient and focused in part thanks to Richard's calm support encouraging me to try only two weeks later. Initially, I couldn't see how I would ever be behind the wheel, but now I know I am capable of going anywhere if I wanted to all thanks to these lessons!

Richard stepped in last minute to support me through my driving test and did so brilliantly, very grateful to him and Xpert for getting me over that final hurdle.
