I purchased both the new monopod along with the dolly. The monopod showed up and is great, but I never received the dolly. What I did receive was a ratchet set instead! I understand these chinese companies use warehouse shipping companies for shipping in the states and uts clearly a warehouse problem but I've also never received an email response from yconion.com for my $170 dolly which is missing! Looks like ill have to file a claim with my credit card.

The website charges import duties and shipping upon ordering. However I later realized that the transporter also charged me the same import duty upon delivering. YConion refused to refund me, instead offering to credit me on the next purchase. This is unlawful. I don't want to be force to buy a new product to recover the money charged. I bought the Monopod Pineta. The base is not rigid anymore, and the legs keeps locking themselves in different positions when moving positions. Not great!

Given the incredibly low prices for several high end looking camera gear I was initially fairly sceptical of the legitimacy of the website and it's products.
With such low prices (compared to US competitors like Edelkrone) these sliders and gimbals have to be lower in quality, right?
No such bad luck so far, I got the Chocolate Milk Slider SE and am amazed at how competent and easy to use it is.
Especially the low pricing amazes me.

Of course, it's a Chinese company and that comes with it's fair share of bad feelings regarding cheap quality and a lack of customer support. However the team was incredibly nice and the product arrived super quick.

Absolutely recomend shopping here if you're a videographer working on a low-budget scale (or even high budget and don't want to spent too much on gear, it's just that well made) and can't handle the exorbitant prices of competitors in the market.
