A few years ago, Yoga Trade connected me with an inspiring community in Nicaragua and countless opportunities that elevated my teaching practice. These experiences brought profound personal and professional growth-for which I'm deeply greatful.
Yoga Trade is fantastic platform for connecting with the global yoga community, especially for those who love to travel. It provides a wide range of opportunities that perfectly align with the types of communities I enjoy being part of.
Yoga Trade opened doors to an incredible community in Nicaragua a few years back, offering countless opportunities that deeply enriched my teaching practice. These experiences became a catalyst for both personal and professional growth. I'm filled with so much gratitude.
I’ve supported Yoga Trade for nearly a decade and never questioned the annual membership fees, trusting that I was contributing to a platform aligned with yogic values like satya (truthfulness).
Unfortunately, I recently discovered that although my PayPal account was charged annually since 2015, I hadn’t been receiving any of the benefits I paid for from 2022 to 2025.
When I brought this up, their response was polite but ultimately dismissive: only the most recent payment could be refunded due to PayPal’s policies. No accountability for the three years of payments (2022, 2023, 2024) that went nowhere. No proactive effort to make things right.
I would’ve been understanding had it been an honest glitch with sincere follow-through. But the fact that no one noticed or informed me all this time—and the default response being “we can’t do anything now”—feels so dishonest and deeply disappointing.
It’s hard to reconcile this experience with the values Yoga Trade claims to uphold. If we’re building a community rooted in integrity and connection, this isn’t the way.

This site is a scam. They are maximizing their profit by taking hundreds of users offering few jobs that are mostly expired and rarely updated. The few jobs they do get are mostly "soulpreneurs" trying to create networking opportunities to make spirituality a business. Do not waste your money.

For example, just yesterday, our featured listing was for a Manager at a Boutique Wellness Lodge with a starting salary of $65K per year. These are the types of niche, high-quality opportunities we aim to coordinate for our community.

I recently started using Yoga Trade and it's been a pretty refreshing experience. As someone who's passionate about yoga and also looking to travel this year, this platform has opened up some interesting opportunities for me. I'm hoping to head to Thailand next month.
The listings are clear, and I appreciate that each one includes details about what to expect regarding time commitment, compensation, visas etc.
It's a straightforward platform that feels genuine. Loving it so far.

There is no better platform to find a job in an exotic place than Yoga Trade. Every opportunity that Yoga Trade has provided me has been one for the books. From teaching yoga in Morocco to cultivating gardens in remote Indonesian islands. The chance for life changing adventures awaits.
Yoga Trade is an incredible resource. Very straight-forward, intuitive, and user-friendly. I’m so glad this platform exists. It saves me tons of time and effort hiring for my retreats, and the people I connect with have almost always been a delight. When I did once have an issue with my account, their support person, Angelo, was down to earth and helpful.
Yoga Trade connected me with several of the most formative experiences I had as a young instructor. Highly recommend this community to anyone looking to gain experience and grow as they travel. I recently joined one of the monthly council meetings and loved the vibe, advice, and camaraderie. Happy to see they're still at it!
This site is a scam. I paid subscription and then could not create a profile. I contacted IT, they said they could not find my account, I sent proof of payment and asked for a refund. They said that the Terms & Conditions state no refunds. This is theft. Don’t waste your time or money. 99% of the listings are for volunteer opportunities anyways. Totally misleading service stealing from people.

The site has literally thousands of jobs you have to scourer. There doesn't seem to be a way to check off a few things like "type + county + start date" etc to then be able to see what is actually available for you. It also lists hundreds of jobs that are taken also so your scrolling time that should be just 10 min a day goes to hours and hours of having to go though loads of stuff. If you have time to waste it is interesting to see what is there as a free member but don't pay for it. I joined thinking I would get to be able to narrow the search to no avail, I asked for refund and still it seems they lag...there are loads of great apps out there that do similar things, once again, don't get sucked into paying for this. INDEED works 100% better and is free.

You can search for Jobs by Location, Category, and Job Type. Subsets of Opportunities are listed in chronological order, with the most recently posted displaying first. Jobs fill quickly, so the most recently posted are always the most relevant.

When you say most jobs are expired, I think you’re referring to them being filled? We pride ourselves on connecting members and opportunities as quickly and effectively as possible. Members monitor and network and connect with new spaces and opportunities rather fast.
You do not need to be paying member to get notified of new and open opportunities. You can also create a free profile and with a free community membership and get invited to Opportunities you may match with.
