Hi I'm Kellie, a holistic psychotherapist and founder of YOOKANTOO Therapy.

I offer a caring combination of psychotherapeutic techniques to help my clients heal from the trauma and negative experiences causing unwanted behaviours, including:

- PTSD

- addiction

- low self esteem/confidence

- & phobias

You are so much more than an unwanted problem or behaviour. Which is why my therapy is about us working together as a team, I will work WITH you, not ON you.

I use a combination of therapeutic techniques such as:

EMDR, Somatic Therapy, Polyvagal Therapy, Compassionate Inquiry (taught by world renowned physician Dr Gabor Mate), Solution Focused Therapy, Clinical Hypnotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy.

These proven techniques, along with tons of compassion and your own inherent ability to heal, will help us pick up, what can seem like broken, scattered pieces, so you can live a happy and whole life again.

Every human has an inherent healing ability and my job is to wake that up, I'm simply here to remind you and your body that healing is here for you, it's in your biology. The whole point of therapy is to help you come into the present, re connect to your authentic self.

Together, we'll work at your own pace, healing your pain, with lots of curiosity, connection and compassion.

Together we'll drill down to the core stories you are unconsciously telling yourself – to help you see what those beliefs are, where they came from; and guide you to the possibility of letting go of those stories.

Chronic insomnia

Having suffered with chronic insomnia for 20 years I was both nervous, and to be truthful, skeptical about what Kellie could offer.
After spending 1.5 hours using both CBT-I and hypnotherapy I was able to sleep from 10 pm until 7 am ( undisturbed) that night and I was able to do the same last night.

All round amazing

I echo all the other comments about Kellie. She first helped me in a visualisation session for giving up chocolate. It was so powerful. Then we did some deeper work around emotional eating. I've had lots of counselling and CBT in the past but I made more progress with Kellie including a huge breakthrough in just 4 sessions. She is warm and engaging and really good at what she does. I felt totally at ease and connected with her even though it was online. Can't recommend highly enough. Change your life today!

I've had an absolutely great experience…

I've had an absolutely great experience with Kellie tackling my emetophobia. Kellie has been kind, funny, and warm, which really helped me in overcoming my phobia. It is clear that she has helped me to change my negative thoughts, which I feel will make a massive difference in my life in the future. In only a couple of sessions, I started to see things very differently. I would recommend Kellie to anyone who needs her help - she is fab!

Kellie is fantastic

Kellie is fantastic, ive been wanting to quit smoking for a long period of time and never been able to quit, since taking treatment out with kellie i havent had a single cigarette or even a craving for one, i cant thank kellie enough, The aftercare has been brilliant checking up on me regularly and providing any help.

Chocolate addiction!

I was addicted to chocolate and went to Kellie. It honestly worked for me. I haven’t had chocolate since mid January and Easter didn’t phase me at all. Kellie was very professional in her approach along with a bit of nuttiness (who doesn’t love a good personality as well as expert services right?). I would’t hesitate to recommend her. Thanks Kellie.

Working with Kellie has changed my life!

Kellie has helped me to over come emetophobia, a phobia of vomiting which I HAD suffered with for as long as I could remember. I used avoidance as a way of coping, which really held me back from living my life. Now, I can confidently say that having therapy with Kellie has changed my life. I am free to do the things that I never thought I could before! Thank you so much Kellie.

I cannot thank YooKanToo enough for the great support I received

YooKanToo helped my in just one session with a deeply routed fear of flying that has near eliminated all concerns on my following two trips by plane. My work involves flying and so this is amazing to travel stress free! I cannot thank Kellie enough! I also have worked with Kellie on delusions I have about my body as I had a very poor self image my whole life. This work involved some internal “soul searching” and looking into my history. Kellie is the most wonderful gentle being to have entrusted myself with. She is amazing in all the support she can offer.

Conquering emetophobia …

Excellent therapy to help my daughter try to overcome her debilitating emetophobia which has hindered her for so long. Kellie’s strategies, patience and compassion served to help this young girl face her anxiety and find methods of coping to the point where this phobia is no longer such an enormous issue in her life.
I highly recommend Kellie for those who wish to conquer fears and anxieties that are so deeply rooted that they have taken hold and impacted everyday life.

Amazing!!

After having struggled with a phobia for over 10 years, Kellie did an amazing job helping me be able to come to terms with my fears and no longer allow them to put me into a state of anxiety and panic.

Kellie really took the time to understand my fear, which was being displayed as something else, and did so much more than I could have imagined possible to help my understand and overcome it.

I can’t thank Kellie enough for enabling me to live my life without being in a constant state of fear!
