Your CV Consultant Avis

I searched various CV companies for my CV and got quoted from £130 to £250. I looked at your CV consultant prices and thought they look reasonable but when I send my CV to them for a free assessment got a surprise reply from Chris Pennington " In this instance we feel no significant work is required. Just some basic editing. We would therefore advise there is no need to pay a CV writing company for any work on your CV."
It is pleasantly surprising that they are giving an honest professional opinion without considering the profit.

Fully professional and nice looking CV.
Very happy

This is a opportunity to appreciate the gesture to renew my CV Thank you.

Jamie was fantastic in both updating my CV and creating great contacts within LinkedIn - I received two interviews offers & a couple coffee chats within 48 hours of following Jamie's guidance & suggestions. In addition Jamie has supported me through the process of readying myself for this new phase of my work life after a lengthy spell out of the workforce. Plus he is a nice guy to boot; very personable, positive minded, down to earth and has a sense of humour. His only downfall is the football team he supports. If, like me you're a Liverpool fan, you'll know what I mean ;)
Thanks Jamie
Tasha

Outstanding service. Chris was friendly and super efficient. Jamie kept up with Chris' pace and completed the review within an hour of me sending the CV off. An honest organisation too! Highly recommended.

Thanks to the CV i got written I got 4 interviews and the job i wanted

Jamie has been fantastic, kept in touch with everything. Even called me first to suggest which package to go for. Highly recommended.

After I completed my MSc in the UK, I was desperately searching and applying for jobs in my relevant industry (Automotive and Motorsport Engineering). Since I wasn't getting any interviews, I thought maybe there is something wrong with my CV and it isn't going past the ATS. I reached out to a number of CV writing services and they seemed pretty expensive to me as I was just a recent Graduate. Anyways, I initially chose the Purple CV and paid them for their Specialist CV package, but later did I find out that I was being tricked, therefore I withdrew. Later, a friend of mine suggested I try Your CV Consultant. I did email them for inquiry. To my surprise, Chris Pennington from Your CV Consultant after assessing my self-written CV told me and I quote, "Thanks again for getting in touch. I have assessed your CV. To be honest, you don't need a CV writing service. Your CV is very strong with no major changes needed. The format and content is as we would advise.". I was awestruck by his Honesty! There is a whole CV writing Industry out there and they are all just concerned about their BUSINESSES. But this one is different. It's one of a kind. It is pretty rare nowadays to find someone who would choose honesty over making money. I would definitely Suggest their service if you want an honest, candid, and authentic CV Writing Service.

The service was OUSTANDING from start to end. I have been contacted within minutes from booking my cv, letter and LinkedIn account and Chris really took everything I told him about my experience and background on board and presented me in the best possible way. I cannot thank him enough for the massive difference he made and would strongly recommend, it was definetly worth the investment!

Invaluable service this!! I could not recommend this enough to anyone out there needing a CV or Cover letter written. Very grateful!

CV in much better shape and advice really helpful

Chris was a joy to deal with and provided a prompt delivery on my package including a Professional CV in both Word and PDF format and a cover letter. Chris included details that I had completely overlooked and the design and narrative captured me perfectly. Worth every penny!

Amazing work chris. Thank you so much for your help and support 🙏

I sent them my cv to have a look at, they came back and told me what package would suit my cv revamp. My cv is now done and my linkedin profile is all up to date.

Great service from beginning to end. Chris and Jamie were prompt, efficient and provided exactly I needed.
I would definitely recommend this company and will use them again in the future if needed.

Very professional service, highly recommended. I'm very pleased with Jamie's work. Thank you

I had considered investing in a professionally written CV for some time, but was always concerned about if the cost of doing so, would really be worth it. I did my research, dithered, put it on the back burner, dithered some more, did more research for probably over a year. I'd read all of the reviews relating to the 'top 10' CV writing companies and I was still unsure.
I stumbled across this company by accident - not one of the leading companies that everyone online talks about, but I liked the reviews. I felt like I would be investing in a company that really cared, rather than a company that you were simply helping to fund their marketing bill. I just felt a connection and with a discount being offered I took the plunge.
I'm so glad I did. I sent my current email to the company and wrote a little email explaining where I was in my current career. Within hours I received an email stating that I would have a CV back within a few days and I did. I had time to review and comment - but it was perfect. I thought my CV was quite good, but this was excellent and it was accompanied by a covering letter. Brilliant. Then on to my LinkedIn page, again all covered off within several days.
I couldn't be happier with the service, quality and delivery. Without a doubt the best money spent. My CV utterly rocks......!

Brilliant service. I am a career changer at 44 and have not written a CV since 2008. I opted for the phone package which proved to be a great way of discussing past, present and future. Huge help. Highly recomended!
