Some great presenters. Switch breakfast off on week days - Fleur and James soooo irritating and very narrow in what they blather on about. Too many repeated tracks, greatest hits is better, plus we listen to local stations now a lot as hits has lost the local element.
No 'gambling warnings' when all the reminders about the make me a winner is constantly promoted.

Sick of all the stupid presenters constantly trying to get you addicted to gambling. Shame because the music is good 😥

What a load of rubbish CBeebies of the radio world all they can say is wow wow on the breakfast show utter tripe !!!

I did write a review last year expressing my disappointment with all the other listeners, the breakfast slot as it's not a show, is awful and so frustrating to listen to dribble,they have no connection nor the banter like STEVE and KAREN, can broadcasters listen and look at the reviews they are getting worse, get rid of the 3 numpties please do something and bring back our regional presenters.

Since hits radio changed from tfm and moved people about its become trash. Constantly quiz games or showbiz crap plus lots of talking. Not to mention the constant competition to win big money. What happened to radio. Just give us some dame music. Tfm was always me go to station before becoming hits radio. Now I use anything but this garbage. Well done 👏

More rubbish.
An excuse to play Capitol and Smooth radio.
Trashy DJs, too many adverts, dreadful music and always played full volume in certain cafes ..to encourage customer turnover.
Being hung drawn and quartered is a 6 month luxury spa break next to this tripe

The news on HITS RADIO is like hearing the propaganda of 1930's Germany. Far right lies on radio that are unsubstantiated and unanswered as factually and MORALLY DISGUSTING. This is across the board for radio and TV up to and including the BBC. THE BROADCADTING STANDARDS AUTHORITY NEED TO INVESTIGATE THIS NATIONAL SHAME.

I just find everything about this station boring, there are millions of songs out there yet they have been playing the same boring songs every single day for months now and its tiresome, and to be honest the presenters aren't much better, I just switch off everytime now and listen to my own music, at least it plays different songs and not repetitive.

Since the change its boring .not local not funny not interesting .if I wanted national radio I,d listen to BBC radio 1 .
Tried and tried to find some good points but can't. Breakfast radio needs to tell me local traffic news, local school closures in winter / storms etc and local problems before setting out on journeys .
Local presenters have the local sense of humour which we enjoy. National presenters don't understand local dialects and just all sound and all speak in a standard boring chat which is not relevant locally.

It does not matter wherever you are this breakfast show .replacement for your local breakfast show .Is the worst flur will & james are not funny. & Not entertaining at all . We use to have hits radio been broadcast in work for over a 1000 people. After over 90% complaints. We use another radio station .

Used to love driving to work listening to Leanne and Joel. How they made me laugh. They were such a brilliant, interesting and funny pair. Great for breakfast radio. However since the changes and new team it’s just awful, boring, banal, soulless. I’ve spent all summer trying to like the new team but it’s not working. Today I’m switching off and now in search of something more interesting. Hits radio is officially ruined.

Listened to the new breakfast show with Fleur, Will and James and find myself switching over more than listening. Their talk is banal and just not interesting at all. At least you had a connection to the local presenters and could relate to them. The new show is terrible, just cold and uninteresting. Worst decision you made to move to national

What have you done to our LOCAL station.
If I wanna listen a national radio, I'll tune in to BBC.
You have ripped the heart out of the station.
I have tried to listen in, but since you got rid of Leanne and Joel, I haven't even cracked a smile at the gibberish that is being broadcast now. I can't even connect with the hosts.
Been a listener all my life. Time for me to listen else where. Shocking what you have done !

The reason for regional radio stations is because everyone gets the humour, the local chat and banter.
Leanne & Joel were like a gentle wake up in the morning,
They made you laugh on journeys in the car, set you up for the day with a Smile.

Now,
I’m turning off more than I’m listening

The show is not as good now Jo and Sparky have gone, I use to listen daily on my way to work and laugh / connect and enjoy the breakfast show - it’s not as good now! There is not that same connection - shame!

Jo and Sparky were an amazing duo on Nottingham hits breakfast and have now been replaced.......they were local people and knew their audience. Their replacements are not an improvement so won't be listening anymore. Why change what ain't broken!!

It's so weird that All your winners are british !!! Could you pls let me and many of my friends (who are your listeners and have same question) know about that ?Leave some space for others , I'm British citizen but because my parents are persian , logically I'm not native British. But it's so weird and same time painful that you guys just would like to choose British people . I mean it's somehow understandable because you like to have a warm chat when you calling someone which maybe we can't make it because of our weaker English. Good luck you guys ..

I've known Jon for many years, so when I heard he was going on air at YHR, I knew it would be very good listening... He's the hottest progressive DJ I'm hearing right now... Also got to give credit to the rest of the team, YHR is the only station I tune in to !! 😎🥳

Wouldn’t be a Wednesday night without The Progressive Sessions with Van Rixter! Always a great mix of tunes, fab show.
