Very happy with the service from Your Local and Josh. Always have clear communication when due, and after the cleaning has been completed.

Your Local window cleaners are great! We’ve always had a great experience, they communicate regularly, have an easy payment set up and Les our window cleaner is especially helpful and friendly. We live on the 4th floor with gated access which makes the whole thing difficult to organise but Les and your local have been so good.

Just had window cleaner and all he did was water the windows no soap no squidgy no frame wipe and just left not happy not paying a monthly payment canceling sorry but I expected clean windows hope this helps

Graeme was here bright and early. He was cheerful and polite, and made a great job of my windows. Even did my front door too!

Had Graeme cleaning my windows today, he was very efficient and friendly and did great job.. Best thing is that he sent me a meal the day before to let me know he was coming!

Joshua cleaned my windows yesterday. He's not my regular cleaner, but I wish he was! Excellent communication, a thorough clean and a very happy customer. My only wish is for more consistency with the staff that Your Local send - it's not always the same cleaners, which makes the building of good relationships difficult.

The window cleaner who came on 01/04/26 knocked on before he started cleaning. He explained the communication I'd get regarding paying for the service. He was a very happy bloke, and he made sure to clean all of the windows, including going over another time.

Always let you know when they are coming cleans windows and sills to a professional standard could not fault anything extremely satisfied 10 out of 10 top man JOSHUA 👍

Dean Bates cleans the windows at my place of work (Gilesgate Sainsbury's), he is professional, polite and courteous. He always cleans the windowsills, edges, dries the floor after he's finished and never rushes me when he needs the door turning to automatic. He's mindful that I am also busy with other aspects of my job and never makes me feel under pressure and I really appreciate that. Dean is also polite to our customers and apologises and moves if he is in a customers way. 10/10 service and 10/10 sparkling windows.

Your staff is inconsiderate and rude and driving like a lunatic in Sunderland driving the van like he stoke it lad with long curly hair skate boarder lookalike what kind of people do yous employ please sure yous aren't giving proper training more fool use for employing someone like that

I don't think this company is capable of improving. We signed up last year and was told by their employee that he would be our regular cleaner. We haven't had the same cleaner twice. I get a text message stating that they will turn up the next day - they don't turn up. Then they turn up when we don't expect them. Recently we were asked to register with them. Since then no one has turned up to clean our windows. Went into the account today and had to re-register for window cleaning. Did this, only to be informed that they weren't working in my area - which is interesting as they cleaned one of my neighbours windows only last week and they have been cleaning my windows since June last year.
They try to come over as professional but I am sorry to say that they are the most incompetent organisation I have ever dealt with.
They will most likely reply to this email asking me to call their customer service - but if they trawl through their records for NE21 6RX and the surname Gilchrist they will find me - and they can give me a call.

Friendly, approachable service from Dean Bates, our windows and front of the store look lovely and clean.

I arranged a window cleaning service with Ish, who quoted £40 for the job. However, he failed to turn up at the agreed time and made no effort to inform me or apologise. This lack of communication and reliability is completely unacceptable, especially when customers are expected to organise their time around appointments.

To make matters worse, I later checked the company website and found that the advertised price for this service is £20, which raises concerns about the accuracy and fairness of the quote I was given.

I have never written a bad review but n any service before but your local have been terrible. I signed up through a very helpful door to door sales for person. However. After 3 weeks, 3 phone calls, all which said they would get back to me and no one has, and an email. I am STILL yet to have my windows cleaned! I thought going with a family run business would mean something. Obviously not. I will try yet again tomorrow to contact yourselves and get some clarity on what’s going on.
