From walking in to leaving treated with respect Lovely nurse helped with Healthy pet plan when I put wrong card number in.
Fantastic vet Rhianna looked after my cat Saffy with care and even showed me an easier way to clean her teeth!
Have used this practice for years and have always found receptionists nurses and vets kind and considerate.

Came here out of hours last night as my cat had loosened her tooth fighting and her mouth was bleeding. Got there at 9:56 after the vet attempting to rip my cats tooth out without consent or pain relief and then trying to charge me to take out 10plus teeth I declined there quote and agreed to pain relief. She then changed her consultation quote to £340 from £280 as she said I got the after 10! She was rude and smarmy. She refused to refund me
Very caring vets
Your vets Solihull were amazing with my cat snoop he had a very bad abses in his mouth with turned out to be a tumour, they explained everything to me all the way through, I did have to have my baby put to sleep in the end which was heartbreaking 💔 but the compassion me and snoop got was exceptional I can’t thank them enough everyone on the team was truly amazing at this sad time so thankyou ,your vets Solihull .
OWNERS- IF IN DIRE NEED IN AN…
OWNERS- IF IN DIRE NEED IN AN EMERGENCY- LIE ABOUT WHERE YOU ARE REGISTERED IF NOT WITH THEM (say not registered anywhere if you have to) otherwise they will refuse to see.
You can give them medical history later once you've actually got your foot through the door and they've done their ethical duty to examine the animal in the first instance.
Money focused rather than welfare focused.
Contacted them for an emergency but was actively told they don't take "new clients" during emergency hours and to contact my own vet to use their recommended emergency vet.
I explained that I had actually been to this vets previously, and that my cat hadn't actually had a need to visit the vets I was registered at since moving from Malvern!
Despite explaining this and that I had his medical history from the vets TO HAND and HAD previously gone there, I was refused and actively told
"It can get us in trouble if we do, as it's like "phising clients" as vets often have a contracts with emergency hours so we get in trouble for not directing there"
Our phone call was recorded and I hope gets listened back to, although I'm sure the big organization will surely only punish their reception staff for being honest rather than looking into their own messed up policies
*Edit, I asked them to search me and said as they had a new system a few years ago my details from my previous visit may have been lost
YourVets SOLIHULL caring and compassionate
YourVets LINCOLN ROAD NORTH, SOLIHULL- Fantastic service and wholly professional but friendly. A massive Thank You to everyone that attended to our beloved 13yr old Cockapoo ‘Crumble’ over the years and especially on Thursday 20th February 2025 for the compassion shown and explaining everything with clarity. Most of all for giving us so much time and space for all the family, all 6 of us, to be with Crumble the entire time and allowing one of our daughters to travel over an hour, late at night, to get there and spend a last special time all together. We cannot express how appreciative all of us are for the excellent service and care you provided. “It takes a special kind of person to care and attend to those that are unable to care for themselves” , it means the world to us. THANK YOU for all your kindness.
Not trustworthy and just about money
Before reading the review I want to say the vets/staff are not to blame it’s the procedures in my opinion.
This vet practice is completely untrustworthy and misleading. I was quoted around £1,100 for my pet’s procedure and assured it would be fully covered by insurance. After providing my insurer’s details, I waited a week for confirmation, and the practice confirmed full coverage before I booked.
On the day of the procedure, I explicitly asked at reception if everything was covered, given I had already paid around £120. I was told again that it was fully covered and not to worry. A week later, I received an email demanding over £300, claiming it wasn’t fully covered.
Despite disputing this, the practice escalated matters, sending solicitor letters within a month, threatening legal action and damage to my credit rating. When I continued to contest the charge, they suddenly produced a document—signed at reception without being advised as t&c’s—stating I was liable for any uncovered costs.
This practice misleads customers, fails to disclose critical financial details upfront, and resorts to legal threats rather than addressing their own errors. Avoid at all costs.
They are money leeches
I’ve spent thousands at this vets 3 minute consultation £60 to look at my dog and tell me nothing I don’t already know. The staff are trained in pulling as much money as they can from you and the manager is never on-site. I’ve also booked appointment to see a vet and I ended up seeing a nurse that couldn’t help my dog so I had to go again to see a vet and I explained when I phone the vets to see a vet that’s what I expect to talk with a vet. But I still had to pay to see the nurse and then the vet just more money for nothing
I visited Sarah on Sunday
I visited Sarah on Sunday, lovely lady so helpful ,with my senior cat who was unwell,I thought it was the end ,so kind answering all my questions ,she seemed to have had stroke Maddie my cat ,she hadn't ,she came home thank you so much,to this vets 😺
Only interested In getting full money…
Only interested In getting full money out of you , don’t care about the pets. Far far Better vets around , avoid these like the plague they are only interested in money
This company has proven to be…
This company has proven to be completely unreliable and untrustworthy. We completed work for them over two months ago, with all tasks signed off as complete, yet they have failed to pay the outstanding invoice despite repeated follow-ups.
To add to this, they showed a lack of compassion in another situation. A family member of mine faced an unexpected issue when their bank temporarily blocked a £2,000 vet bill payment due to card security. Despite assurances that the funds would be available within a few days, the company immediately threatened legal action and continued to press for court proceedings multiple times.
Such behavior—failing to pay for completed work while aggressively pursuing payments from others—is unprofessional and highly disappointing.
Your Vets - Solihull
The Your Vets team in Solihull were amazing. They were so compassionate when my rabbit (Nico) was at the end of his life. They dealt with him with such care and dignity and they were very caring towards us. Excellent service.
Terrible service
Terrible service, waited an hour to get through on phone to ask about Flea/Worm treatments. Should have been straight forward but unanswered calls and email ongoing problem. I ended up getting in the car and driving to the practice. No one appears accountable I asked for a name to address a complaint and was told it wasn’t possible. Just a shambles.
Your vets smethwick
Your vets smethwick, I found 2 healthy stray kittens they asked for my contact details I called one day they were fine after 4 days of not picking up.the phone they eventually said they were given to the rspca,no log number no way to prove if they are alive or not ,I have emailed and done all I can I just can't track their update on their health, do not give any healthy strays to this vet ,I'd they bot getting any money they will.get rid of them,I wanted to microchip them but it was too late as they said they gave them away,I have no way of verifying it.
Avoid go elsewhere
Several visits I'm not happy with for example I was told my yorkshire terrier may have testicular cancer during a routine check up so they performed a vasectomy. We was told they would let us now asap after more blood tests. 4 weeks later no reply so enquired myself as I did after 2 weeks also. No apology just "oh yeah he's fine didnt nobody contact you". They took the £850 quick enough.
Another routine check as my dog requires Skylocalm twice a year for a seasonal skin allergy on this occasion they charged an extra £200 to treat his ears with steroids also although the vet told me his ears looked fine.
Trying to get Skylocalm tablets as my dog has been struggling again and only requires his repeat tablets but the vets won't let me have them until he can be booked in for a review, 3 days later no appointments they genuinely do not care about animals it's just a money making business with false empathy towards the animals. They no their is no issue with my dog taking the tablets they simply won't ease my dogs suffering until they can make more money.
Stay away bunch of Jo's worths
Avoid!
Looks like poor service is an ongoing problem.
Too many issues to mention but resulted in our dog being put to sleep.
This was distressing enough but the incompetence of staff resulted in her being cremated without following our wishes of wanting to see her for one last time.
Waited ages for a response from the practice manager and got a generic reply that didn't answer all of our questions and did not match previous information we'd been given.
Only went there as it was an out of hours emergency.
Avoid at all costs.
Wythall branch
This is in relation to the Wythall branch.
I took my cat in, as she wasn't eating much, was advised to have blood test, £250 later informed nothing wrong with her.
Roll on 2 weeks, took cat back not eating again & behaving oddly. Told she has
heart failure & probably fluid on her
lungs, euthanasia kindest option. Paid
left very upset.
Next day crematorium call saying I need to pay them £107, I paid the vet I tell
them 2 calls to the vet, everything is
okay I'm told.
1 week to the day she passed crematorium call again ask me for £107
again, inform me money paid to vet was only for what they did, further
questioning turns out my family pet has
been in deep freeze for a week because
Your vets failed to inform me this was a
separate cost but I could of paid it all at
the vets. Called Your vets, was told it would be raised as a complaint &
management would call me back.
Have they ..... no, for me it wasn't about the money, I was happy to pay so that my beloved Nelly wasn't in distress.its Your vets total disregard to passing on all the information, to make this extremely upsetting time easier for the owner. They had what they cared about ..... money & thats what it's all about for them. They knew the crematorium would call me making the pain, loss & upset harder.
Never ever would I use them again nor would I recommend them.
Do not use this vets they just want…
Do not use this vets they just want your money they killed my dog beware do not use
I would not recommend
I would not recommend this vet's practice.
Our puppy developed a lump on his back which wasn’t causing him any pain but was in a bit of a funny position. Given that he was due in to be neutered and we were concerned with the effects of anesthesia, we asked the vet to remove this during the same operation.
Our request was ignored and instead, a needle sample was taken.
Because we were worried about having another operation, because we couldn’t change the past and because we were told that the needle sample was “all clear” we were advised to leave it alone unless the lump changes.
We have since changed vets and have had the lump removed which has turned out to be cancerous. Fortunately, they were able to remove with enough margins for him to make a full recovery.
In addition to this, we have also found out that the needle sample used is only 70-80% effective (i.e. results have a 20%-30% chance of being incorrect.
We have raised this as a concern with the original vet practice who have hidden behind poorly recorded notes and processes (and they can’t check with the original vet as they are no longer employed by them) and in places have implied I am a liar.
Ultimately, everything has worked out however couldn’t hand on heart recommend this practice given how they originally dealt with the issue but more worryingly how they have dealt with my concerns after the fact.
Avoid!
Awful patronising vets who do not have your pets best interest at heart. Avoid!
Update on our experience
This is an update after visiting Your vets some weeks ago. They told us our cat had to be put down if we could not afford the £4000 pound to have his blood analysed as they thought he possibly had an autoimmune disease. His left rear leg was swollen and he was limping quite badly.
We then took him to another vet, and this is what he advised, he said if it is an autoimmune disease the chances are that it could not be cured, he also said that it could be Arthritis, which is something humans get in older years and we just have to put up with it. He also said that if it was his cat he would not put the cat through an ordeal of having bloods taken and he would not waste his money for something that couldn’t be cured. He recommended we continue with his medication and see how he gets on. Our cat is still with us, he is very lively, 6 ft fences are no barrier to him, has a good appetite he is not limping anymore. If left to Your Vets he wouldn’t be with us now, so if you have any sense MOVE TO ANOTHER VETS.
