Purchased a yearly plan for my company, the payment went through (960 dollars for the year) and then the site blocks me from seeing anything from the setting saying that my payment has "failed." If you want support for what is clearly a Zencastr issue, good luck. They don't have a call support, just a number that says to email them. If you're hoping the email support is quick, it is not--days taken to even ask what the issue is. If the site/services has occasion issues that is a 2.5-3 star, but if the site/services provided have frequent issues with NO SUPPORT INFRASTRUCTURE to remedy it, that is a 0 star, wish I could give less than 1 star - if you are a podcaster STAY AWAY tons of other services at similar price points

They charged an expired credit card I had on file for a service I don't want and refuse to refund me the money, hiding behind their 40 page Terms of Service like the scam company they are.

While the quality of my overseas recording was good, the lack of editing functionality made the service very overpriced for what you get from it, especially compared to other services like Riverside that have twice the functionality and cost half as much to use.

Furthermore, after my 2-week trial, the company immediately started trying to charge me for a yearly plan (which I had not selected). I tried to change it to a monthly plan but it automatically swapped back to a yearly plan and tried to charge me again. I was never even asked if I want to continue with the service, it just demanded I start paying immediately.

I contacted customer support saying that I was having issues and I would like my payment information removed and my account canceled, and instead they switched me back to a monthly plan.

It is furthermore insane to me that you have chat support, but that it's available even when no one is online or working, so that having real-time conversations about support issues is impossible. They don't actually state what time zone or times they are available in either, so you could know when to contact them.

I have found no possible way to remove my banking information from my account, and Zencastr keeps trying to switch me back to a yearly account and automatically charge me.

This is a total scam, I don't care if the product is okay or not.

Really poor-quality podcast recording platform.

#1 - I had a guest come to the podcast and they couldn't even enter the room. It was really embarrassing.

#2 - I recording a 45 minute podcast and the video for the other person was frozen when I attempted to download the footage despite his video working the whole time we were recording. Not to mention the platform cannot jump to the talking person from screen to screen easily.
