We rented a car with them in October…
We rented a car with them in October 2018 (14/10-21/10). We met our contact outside the terminal (which looked strange) and he had a payment terminal with him and the paperwork/contract). The guy was from Russia. We paid the rental cost (114 euros for a 7 seater for a week, plus 30 pounds for the windows and tyres insurance, that we had to pay even if our bank card was covering everything), and we paid the 390 euros for the 'franchise'. The car was old and all broken (it was parked with the taxis). The tank was empty at collection. It was night and we found a petrol station. We had 3 tired kids in this car. 10pm and a full day of travelling. 3 days later, we filled up the rank and we could see that the petrol was coming out by underneath the car (and we spent 80 euros there in petrol).. so we had to swape cars (one full tank against an empty tank...). The next car was also very old. When we returned the car at the Malaga airport, we were told to leave it next to the taxi, but after a few calls we finally met one of the person working for rentacarspain and gave him our keys. They are cowboys. Still waiting for my 390 euros and the money for the full tank (they took the receipt showing 80 euros). I am away to speak to my bank, and send some emails to the Malaga airport. They have to stop to abuse customers this way. I will post an other comment if I get my money back.
