Dont expect the value you think

Decided to go with Meelie Mobile after a bad experience with another company. Thought Meelie Mobile had been around a while and must be worth a try.

Sent my device in to them only to be low balled an offer, the device had always been in a case and always had a screen protector fitted and honestly was in excellent condition.

They did send a picture that was zoomed in on a little imperfection about the size of an ant's leg but on the website under "Excellent Condition" it states "The Device may show very light signs of use under close inspection but not visible from 30cm away". I rang them up to ask that the tiny imperfection still fell under their "Excellent Condition" and it was not "Brand New", I advised them that the pictures that I took from 30cm away that I was happy to send in to prove that you cannot see the imperfection and asked them to send a picture across from 30cm away to show that the scratch is visible from this distance and this is where there response was dissapointing.

The response was :

"There are 2 reasons that the photo has been taken so close to the phone, and we do this will all devices regardless of the size or clarify of any marks:
(1) We have to protect any GDPR that may be around on the desk and computer screens.
(2) Cameras are simply not as good as human eyes, so it needs to be taken closer so that you as the customer can see that actual damage.

Ended up accepting the low ball offer as I couldnt be bothered arguing with them and then having the phone sent back to go through another company, the only positive thing was payment was same day..

Money Grabbing Cowards

After going on a mobile phone trade in comparison site these guys popped up on top. I decided to go ahead with trading in two mobile phones with them.

I got sent the pre paid postage and sent the devices off, days later they arrived and started going through the "grading process"

The first phone was graded and a "revised offer" was sent through which was basically £40 short of the offer I received online, when I phoned them up to query this they states that the price changes every day and is down to market value, that isnt the email I received !! They casusally advised me to "reject" the offer and they will come back with a better offer ...... A slightly better offer came back a few hours after and still way below the price they agreeed. Their excuse ? That the mobile was not in "prinstine" condition even though I completed my order with "good" condition, when I questioned this they didnt want to know. I decided to take the last offer as there was a tiny (and I mean tiny) scratch on the back of the phone.

Now for the second device I traded in, again same as above they have offered a staggering £80 below the agreed offer for a condition of "good". Now this second device was in prinstine condition and should have got top price for this.

I am glad I took photographs of the phones from all angles, pictures of IMEI numbers shown on the phones and pictures of the battery conditions as I always do as I always heard bad storied just like this, never had a problem with dozens of other places.

The best of it is, they give you a crappy excuse about the condition of the phone and they DO NOT back this up with photographs as other companies may do. They are bascially chancing their luck at YOUR COST.

Honestly, if your looking at selling / trading in your devices to this company then DONT.

Customer Service is shockingly bad

Got a present at Christmas, took the item out the box and straight away noticed a manufacturing defect. Got in touch with Customer Service who requested pictures etc. and then came back with the following excuse

"In this instance, the two holes are located in identical positions on both sides. It seems that the material has been subjected to contact with an external object. Damage incurred during normal and intended use of the product shall not be regarded as a manufacturing defect."

Even through this was straight out the box and not worn I am astounded how they can come to this conclusion.

Do NOT expect cashback from HomeFitnessCode

Purchased an item online a while ago and used TopCashback as they were offering 7% cashback. TopCashback have just got in touch to say that HomeFitnessCode has rejected the claim due to them not being the final referrrer of my purchase which is impossible as it is the only Cashback site that I use. This is complete nonsense from HomeFitnessCode.

Ordered 5 x items for part of Christmas…

Ordered 5 x items for part of Christmas presents and waited for over a week for them to turn round and say :
"Unfortunately the below products have been cancelled off your order as the payment method chosen was not able to complete successfully. Please choose another method of payment and place your order again ensuring all of your details are correct."
I checked my payment method (PayPal) and noticed that the monies had been taken, I contacted PayPal and they are now trying to get the money back from Game .......

I havent ordered from Game for years and after hearing about the bad experiences since Mike Ashley bought them over I thought I would give them the chance, all I can say is Cash Grabbing at its finest .....

Give these guys a chance at Fifo Store

Was a little hesitant to order from Fifo Store upon reading the reviews initially but decided to go ahead and place my first order anyway to give them a chance.

I have just received my order and I am amazed at how well packaged the order was.

I honestly cannot fault from ordering to delviery, I just wish all online companies were like this.

AVOID AVOID AVOID .... Buy from CostCo instead ...

Bought item ..... received totally different item.

Been trying for 3 weeks to resolve but they are simply not interested.

Appears they dropship from CostCo but add on a little bit to make money, anyone can make a CostCo online account and buy cheaper with proper customer support.

This place is a one man band, firm avoid.

CD Keys SCAM

Pre-Ordered EA FC 24 Ultimate Edition, Problem on release day and couldnt load into game. Saw on their Facebook post that there had been some problems with some of the keys and that they are going to replace ALL keys due to this and to remove the game from your account. Removed game from account and awaited replacement key ..... NO REPLACEMENT KEY EVER SENT.

Got in touch via thier support ticket system and spoke with "Dennison" who basically didnt want to help and offered no support, then told me to take it up with PayPal and they are closing the support case.

Purchased elsewhere 30 days after purcahse as I still had no access to the game because of CD Keys and they are refusing on a full refund.

They are brilliant when things go right but as soon as things go wrong then bet your top dollar that they wont offer any help at all !!!

Just out of warranty and my arms started to tear, got in touch to see about replacements which I was happy to pay but the amount they came back with was £100 for a couple of arms, which they know has a high failure rate...... They are nice chairs but wont be a returning customer sadly

Had a couple of offers through…

Had a couple of offers through WeBuyAnyCar and some of the main dealerships and I was happy enough with some of the estimates I had received. I went onto motoroway as the appointments I had with the dealerships were 10+ days away and I was looking to have the vehicle sold sooner. I spoke with a customer rep at Motorway and advised that if I was to get the profile finished (pictures etc.) then it would be included in the auction the following day. 3pm next again day I received an offer which was £2000 more than any of the dealerships were offering so I quickly accepted. Collection of the vehicle was 3 days later from the Dealership and money paid into my bank account before they took the vehicle. Very pleased with the service Motorway provided

Customer Service - ABSOLUTELY ZERO !!!!

I purchased a new headset from Corsair. Straight out of the box there seemed to be a few issues with the headset where it would randomly drop connection / switch off. I done a firmware update but it was still the same.

I contacted Corsair support and had a RMA to send the headest back for a full refund, I thought it was a little strange at first as usually these companies try and solve your issues without having to return for a refund so I thought Corsair must be aware of this issue and there is no possible fix.

I received a pre-paid label and took this to my local drop off point. The parcel was bound to their UK warehouse instead of going back to Germany, the warehouse in the UK was SCAN!

A few weeks later I never heard anything so got back in touch with Corsair, they told me that the tracking doesnt show anything and to get in touch with DHL. A few emails later to DHL and it was confirmed that Corsair sent me a Pre-Paid label that is only meant for shipping outside of the UK. Long story short there are apparantly two divisions within DHL, one that does international parcels and the other deals with parcels within the UK only. Because Corsair provided me with a international pre paid label even though the label clearly gives an address in the UK then the local DHL division cant track this parcel as they havent got access to the international system, and the international division of DHL state that they cannot track the item due to it being a UK delivery address.

I got back in touch with Corsair and asked to be put through to a Supervisor / Manager. I think that was my worst move as "Eric - Corsair Escalations Manager" was absolutely no help at all. All questions and points raised with him he completely ignored and told me that no tracking information and that "if it ever turns up then we will let you know".

They basically called me a liar and that I never returned the Headset. I keep asking myself why anyone would keep a faulty headest and be out of pocket by quite alot of money. I done everything in their RMA instructions to return the Headset to them but yet they still blame me ??

I feel ashamed to give Corsair 1/5 stars on here but it wont let me select any less !!

Signed up, went to deposit, couldnt deposit, got in touch via Live Chat and was advised I failed "Verification Checks" although I only just signed up and never provided them with any ID documents. Never had an account with them before. AVOID

Opted for the "small deposit" where EVGA will send out a replacement and then you send them the defective item back, sounds great UNTILL.......

1) Send the item to Germany, Fully Insured and Tracked at a cost of £25+. EVGA do not bear the costs of returns even though their product is faulty......Why should the consumer have to pick this bill up?

2) The "Collateral Charge" they expected me to pay was £160, which would be totally acceptable if it was an expensive item, but for an item I originally paid £40 for ????

In the end they are refusing to change the RMA or to accept the RMA, Absolutely shocking Customer Service !

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE - Phoned to cancel as was at end of contract and was advised that they NOW require 90 days notice and there is no getting out of it. It wasn't 90 days notice when I signed up but yet they can change the goalposts whenever it suits them even though I'm technically out of contract with them. They don't wish to reason with you even though your moving to Virgin Media Residential and its still under Virgin Media umbrella......cash greedy !!!!

Con Artists

Mate bought an item from them, sent back within 14 days and Box.co.uk stated the item was damaged and they are taking 25% off the total, after stating to them just to refund him and he will leave reviews based on his experience they reduced it to 20%............Really ? Best of it is he had pictures of it in the box as he packaged it up, he cant be bothered arguing with this lot if they are that desperate for money they can have it....AVOID

First time using CJS....and wont be the last

This was my first time ordering through CJS after a recommendation that I had, the process was very quick and very secure. It definitely will not be the last time that I purchase from them, Yes I found the game elsewhere for cheaper but with CJS you know you will receive the game without any risks!
