Where do I start
Where do I start! This company is actually on par with worst crooks out there! I ordered a drill press from them by Stanley brand. The parcel took a while to arrive, which did not bother me a bit, however, when it arrived, the box was apparently broken from one corner but those things happen' and if the padding inside are good, usually it is no issue so I commenced to unpack and assemble the drill press. The quality of item itself was average but again, obviously not an issue as I did not need a top end product at the time for premium price. However, after assembling the tool, the drill did not power on! Went over everything and apparently there was a damage to electric cord connecting switchboard to motor, cable severed and covered with some kind of white paint! OK, contacted Toolsidee (or shall I say FOOLSIDEE) customer service along with four photos of item attached, just as requested on their web site (they request three photos)! Got no reply so tried a different avenue by contacting them via e-mail. Wonder, wonder, got the reply from a girl called Chantal. She was asking 5 photos in this occasion, which I sent. To be mentioned here, that their entire language was a rather cold, unfriendly and filled with all sorts of warnings etc. right off the back! Not very friendly service! I took a new set of photos, whatever they asked - close up, from top of the box with label clearly visible etc. except, I could not take a photo of item still packed in box as I had already assembled it! She came back again stating that without this specific photo (disregarding my explanation and other photos where damage was obvious) they are unable to handle the claim! Naturally, I never realised before that I should have been much more careful with this company and should have documented entire process of unpacking but then again, I did not expect any issues when ordered either! Anyway, the only way to rectify this situation would have been taking the drill apart again, retrospectively pack it back into the shipping box as it came, take a photo and send it to them (of course still without any guarantee that my claim would be positively resolved/handled)! However, I'm finding it totally ludicrous and unacceptable that they insist that without that photo they refuse to handle the claim! Anyway, few heated e-mails exchanged, in which Chantal very rudely and boldly responded, full of arrogance and completely unhelpful, I decided to take a hit and bin the situation as effectively they sold me unsafe, completely broken item but one's time and nerves are more valuable that arguing with some dumb chick from NO-GOOD company of crooks, scammers and thieves that they are!
I will not recommend anyone to buy from this crowd, they are totally incompetent and useless if anything goes wrong, blatantly refusing to help you and so your money would be entirely wasted!
There are better places to buy stuff!
If I could give this crowd a half a star I would and that alone would be overstatement, they wouldn't deserve even third of star!
