Excellent buying experience

Bought a pair of trainers online but due to the redirect to my bank's authorisation redirect ended up with two separate identical orders. Annoyingly couldn't cancel the duplicate as I had noticed the error within a minute or two of ordering but on reflection a lot of online vendors do the same.
Both orders arrived within one working day which was excellent, very happy with the trainers and returning the duplicate order was simple.

Excellent product

I was sceptical but gave it a go and had my dog tested with the essential package. I didn't provide a photo of my dog and have no social media so no way of WP finding a photo to avoid any doubt that any guesswork took place.
They listed the dominant breeds spot-on and also showed that our dog was the son of another dog that had also been tested, and as we know the father this confirmed legitimacy of the testing for me.

So far so good

I ordered VF full fibre 500Mbps after being let down by TalkTalk.
Install date was a month from ordering but as our area just went full fibre last October I thought the wait was fine as my copper broadband was still working.
I have the power hub router but have turned WiFi off as I have separate WiFi access points already hardwired back to a switch so I cannot vouch for the router WiFi coverage or reliability.
One week on from install all seems good, speed tests always between 150 and just over 500Mbps and this fluctuation will be down to the server at the other end. Decent rtt and jitter.
I have the digital phone line and the phone just connects to a router port, no separate box needed.
Router management GUI not the best but useable.
I had to use online chat to get the login to my online account working, took just 15 minutes start to finish, pretty good.
The actual install took Openreach about 90 minutes and my service was working about an hour after they left.

Unwanted £5 oil top up

Ordered car engine oil and a few other bits, made sure the 'no top up oil for £5' was selected, entered postcode to check stock in store and proceeded to checkout.
Looked at the receipt later on and I had been charged for oil top up.
Went through the process of selecting the oil again just now using two different browsers and both times it starts off unselected but once I entered postcode it automatically selected the £5 top up further up the page, and you are unlikely to scroll back up that far.
Very underhand tactics from Halfords, especially as when I picked up from store I was not asked if I would like my oil topped up, which I didn't of course. Services not received effectively.
I wonder how many people are caught out by this annually.

In response to reply from Halfords my order number was 2226889088.
I'd like a commitment from you to update your website behaviour to not automatically add oil top up please.

More RM lies

Purchased an item from a UK eBay seller, tracked 48 hour delivery. Email from Royal Mail saying they attempted delivery at 14:08 (pretty much the 48 hour limit) today but no on answered apparently. Royal Mail are lying, no knock or ring, 3 people and a dog in the house, no person picked up on CCTV camera covering the front of our house. RM not fit for purpose, if you cannot meet your committed deadlines just admit it and make your figures look accurate.

The wrong oil

*Update - I was contacted by a ECP customer service rep named Liam who looked into the problem and arranged a refund for the oil, turned out to be an incorrectly labelled item. Excellent customer service and review upgraded to reflect that*

Used them a few times normally pretty good however last order they gave me a different spec oil to the one I ordered. Only realised after changing my oil so unable to take it back.
Partly my fault for not checking, mostly their fault for not giving me what I ordered online.

Failed at the first hurdle

I can only speak for their order process as I didn't get as far as having broadband installed.
I ordered full fibre 150 online, took half an hour and was easy enough. I was given an install date of a Saturday about 2 weeks on from the order. Openreach arrived the day before and pulled the fibre up to my house all fine. I had a chat with the fibre engineer about where he would put the outside box as he said the fibre will enter my house through the back of the box, he said easier if he left the engineer coming to to the internal work to place the outside box which I agreed to as it sounded logical and was not explained this would cause delays or order issues. How can they fit the outside box without looking inside after all? Same day I get an email from TalkTalk saying install still the following day, even though I had no router arrive, and same day Openreach contacted me to say they would come back the following Friday to complete install. This is the start of the confusion.
I had an online chat with TT who apologised and said the Openreach date of the following Friday is correct. Router arrived today, 2 days before install due, then a couple of hours later I received an email from TT to say my order was cancelled. I started another online chat with TT to ask for the order to be revived, no can do. The blame was laid on the fact Openreach didn't install the outside box and the Openreach engineer apparently said I wanted the cable to come through the back of the box, which is inaccurate, I asked them if the cable came through the back of the box they said yes. Can't even clone the original order so went through starting a new order. 1 hour into this chat and near the end of the 'new' order their chat system froze. I cannot be bothered starting again as the whole process has been amateurish so will take my money elsewhere. Come and pick your unused router up please TalkTalk!

Brilliant buying experience

Searched online for a specific bike and CJP were the best price by quite a way. Ordered with no issues and the bike was delivered to the other end of the country within a week. Excellent.

Entitled way to operate from Bet365

Had an account with them for around 5 years or more and used it infrequently, went to use it and found a cryptic message that my account has been restricted and I couldn't place a bet, but apparently could withdraw my balance. Tried to withdraw but as it was less than £5 was unable to, so they keep your balance, of course this will be buried in the small print that they will point you to. Mailed support asking them to close my account and was told it was already closed as they didn't want my business. Odd and entitled way to operate. As I am not a regular gambler this is not an issue for me but what a bad company to deal with.

Very good service

Very good service. Was messaged a 2 hour slot the evening before delivery and called an hour or so before arrival. Item was delivered in good condition and the two guys were friendly.

Workplace pension issue

I had a workplace pension with WTW for just over a year, a change at work meant a new pension record needed opening and original record was frozen (failure on my employer's part triggered this).
This was over 4 months ago and WTW are still unable to supply me with a login to access my own pension record for technical reasons I was told. They have provided no details of the record so I only have their word it exists.
If I was to open a personal pension it would not be with WTW.
