Booked appointment turned up 20 minutes…

Booked appointment turned up 20 minutes before time. The centre made me wait dealing with walk ins that appeared after my appointment time. I was patient as did not want to make a fuss as these things do happen. My vehicle goes up on the system 40 minutes late to find they do not have the appropriate software to actually do the job they booked me in for. Guess what I am unimpressed. Would blame the website for the wrong booking but the local bentre for the delay. 2 hours of my saturday wasted and the job not done either. For balance would also like to mention Katie the cusomer service contact was exemplary in her job.

Excellent service

Went into the Cardiff store on Newport road for a click and collect order which was quick and then wanted more of the same. The young lady who spent time to find the items I wanted was very patient. And also checked if they had more for my 12 yr old crochet enthusiast. This is how companies can get customers in store with employees that are keen to help the people walking through the door. My error was not to find the name of the person to mention here.Hopefully they know from the order number. Thank you

Return collection!! from ZORO

Return collection from another cowboy retailer zoro. VOLKSWAGEN CRAFTER SV25XDM (no DHL livery) comes in stating collection. zoro said DHL will come with lables. I ask where are the labels. White vanman looks at 1 box and says you already have labels on the box. I say that is label from when it was delivered I have 5 of these. Looks surprised and quips i will scan them and once I am at depot will stick lables. I politely ask can you wait so I can put all 5 boxes and take a photo of the collection. white van man in rage, refuses, abuses and leaves. I stop the van and ask him I will take all the boxes into the van myself and take a photo for proof. Was desperate to get rid of the boxes as they are huge (wrong items sent my zoro) and taking up space. White van man threatens to run me over and leaves. Well done DHL

Awful retailers

Awful retailers. Ordered laptops, Got huge monitors. Reported immediately to zoro asking for refund and arrange a return. No reply from zoro for over a week. Filed a claim on paypal, Now zoro wakes up asking to return, fair enough mistakes can happen. It gets more interestig zoro wants me to stay in all day on a day on short notice (has to be a weekday too) of their choosing so their contracted courier can collect. Explained can't really do that I like many people actually work, please send labels I will drop them off when I can. More than a dozen emails.After a month of this suggesting return period is over. Also stating pay for your own returns which will cost almost £100 cos of the weight and size of wrong products sent. All this while holding my money (under £1000). Paypal now saying the same please return products at your own cost. Went to credit card provider they have now put the transaction on hold and the onus on zoro to deal with this. So be prepared if something goes wrong. Otherwise probably a decent company but I will never know if they are.

Ordered some handwash just as a tester…

Ordered some handwash just as a tester to see if they are any good as a company late in the evening almost end of the day. Yet here at 11AM the next day no fuss no messing around just superfast and no unneccessary extra packaging too. Very nice will be with them for some time to come for all other requirements.

Simply bad

Bought a pre-order key for FIFA23 on the 26 SEP with a promise that the key will be sent 12 hrs prior to the release on 30 SEP so the game is ready to download and play on release date. But key sent only on the next day. Of course mistakes happen so contacted Customer support and not even a cursory £5 off for the delay and inconvenience. Gave them 3 chances to rectify their error. But no remorse from their customer support. Will not be returning to them anytime soon.

Just another Test centre

The usual, was pretty quiet got in and out pretty quickly. Did the 12hr fit to fly 12hr test sample given at 945AM The results were only available after midnight the next day. So technically pretty rubbish backend support. Called to find out the progress people at the other end of the phone consistently said we cannot access the progress until 10PM which would have been 24 hrs from taking test sample. Would avoid the company in future.
