Painfully Slow Payment Transfers to Children’s Accounts

Payment transfers are almost immediate from my checking account but are painfully slow to transfer to children’s accounts. Inexcusable in this day and age of instant payment transfer. Will probably go with Venmo after my son’s 13th birthday which is the only prerequisite for that payment method. Tired of getting alerts for a problem with my payment method when Acorns doesn’t seem to have an issue withdrawing funds, like I said almost immediately….

Transfers made through a linked bank account can take approximately 2–3 business days to fully process and appear in your Acorns Early account. During this time, the funds may already show as withdrawn from your bank account while the transfer remains in flight to us.

If you would prefer funds to be available immediately, we recommend using a debit or credit card, as these payments are processed into your account instantly.

We were unable to locate your account using the information provided through TrustPilot but we would like to help ensure everything is processing as expected with your account and look into these alerts. Please feel free to contact us at 855-739-2859. Our support team is available Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM–8:00 PM EST and Saturday–Sunday from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST.

Opened accounts for my granddaughters

Opened accounts for my granddaughters. They love have an ATM card (although the eldest teen can't seem to help but spend it all 😁) to feel independent. So easy to add money to their accounts and their investment accounts are doing so well!!!

Horrible customer support

I sent an email to get a new card to my new address and had zero response. When I called the customer service number I got a message stating the phone is not working and that's when I sent an email and zero response. I'm getting ready to cancel

Acorns Early is a subscription service meaning that we do charge a monthly subscription fee to use the service. We are really proud of the service and the various features we offer to our customers. These features range from automatic allowances, to personalised savings goals, to 100+ educational 'Money Missions' for your child to help with their understanding when it comes to earning, spending, or saving.

I have been able to locate your account with us and I have sent an email to you outlining our specific features you receive for your subscription fee.
