Shocking customer service

Shocking customer service! Adidas South Africa online store. Twice I have placed an order. Making sure that there was plenty stock of item that I was purchasing.
Twice my order has been cancelled! Reason: no stock at the time I placed my order. I am beyond irritated.

Terrible, Horrible and downright Deplorable!

I find it refreshing to see that I am not alone in my situation with regards to the abysmal service that I have experienced courtesy of Adidas South Africa's online shop. From the intentional lack of communication to the back and forth of emails filled with empty and generic apologies and promises to improve.

I made an order during their Black Friday specials week and I fully acknowledge that the website made it apparent that there would be a 9-14 day delay with the order which I fully understand and appreciate. With this in mind, my order was slated to arrive on the 13th of December 2024, which was not borne out of my own estimates but from Adidas themselves. fast forward to the expected window of delivery, I receive no notification from Adidas regarding the status of my order and I made numerous attempts to contact Adidas through email and phone calls but no one answered on either front. The day came and went without a single whisper from Adidas and this horrible feeling was compounded by the fact that I would soon be leaving for holiday on Saturday and thus would not be able to receive the order but Ihad organised for a friend to pick it up on my behalf.

To cut an incredibly long story short, when enquiring about the status of my order, Adidas'courier partner informed me that they would deliver it on the 27th of December 2024 but not too long after I had received this communication, I receive a refund notice from Adidas as they had all of a sudden recalled my order. To say this was incredibly upsetting is an understatement as this was the company's way of telling me they would not be fulfilling my order without there being any type of follow up in the first place regarding if I was going to be able to receive the order amongst other things as well and their customer 'care' team were equally inept at their job.

A back and forth of emails began between me and the company's ill equipped customer 'care' team which despite me representing all the facts and their negligence, all they could muster were the stereotypical half hearted apologies and piece meal 'gifts' of apppeasement which included full access to their run app which is soon to be defunct. Personally, experiencing such an inconvenience and to be offered such ludicrously insulting forms of atonement is downright humiliating as a customer and I personally did not appreciate being treated like some child who would be shut up if given a few sweets.

Despite this story being primarily about the priniciple of Adidas not fulfilling their end of the consumer producer agreement, the emotional toll must not go unnoticed either as the order I had made was for some members of mt family as Christmas gifts so you can only imagine the humiliation I had to suffer because of the poor treatment at the hands of Adidas. If you have managed to reach this end of the review then I strongly recommend that you rather go shop in person than to use the online store because clearly, from this review and others, the issues that Adidas have when operating their website are deeply engrained and show no signs of improving anytime soon especially when you have been sleighted more than once as this was not my first time suffering the consequences of shopping with Adidas online.

Instead of asking the company to improve themselves like they say they will (they won't), I would rather ask you the consumer to not even bother with the online service and that the company should just shut down their website in South Africa and rather outsource its functionalities to a Takealot for example till such a point when they decide they are serious about treating their customers with respect and dignity.

The Adidas online store sent me pants

The Adidas online store sent me pants: "Tiro Bukse" of shitty quality, they can't exchange them for the same ones because they don't have that size. Adidas wants me to do the repairs at my own expense because Adidas is only willing to pay a small part of the repair of the pants. The Adidas company violates consumer protection laws, that is, it spits on its customers, and is cynically proud of the fact that the Adidas company doesn't give a damn about compliance with the consumer protection law.

COMPLAINT

COMPLAINT: We purchased 2 pairs of sneaker for my husband and I on 13 June 2024 and was
delivered late afternoon 18 June 2024, neither fit, We have lodged a request for return on 19 June 2024, received a confirmation of request received as well as RMA number. We have enquired and followed up with them a couple of times, received various RMA numbers but to date no one has contacted us to advise of the pickup or our refund. We requested the refund on Monday out of frustration as we have had no joy with them. I am logging this complaint as I have come to notice they have a 30 day return policy and it today it is officially 30 days since we purchased it. Up until today more then a month ago, we have had no joy from our purchase, we have had no joy from the store and have not even been contacted by Adidas

This is the worst experience I have…

This is the worst experience I have ever had to deal with. 
it's safe to say this is the most useless company to order online with.
After 10 days we still have not received what we ordered and now you have delivered the wrong products........absolute i#$%ts!
and on top of that i must now deal with a call centre in india????????

Requesting return since more than 13 days

The worst customer service ever the worst believe me the worst.. I am looking for the correct contact person to raise an official complaint about Adidas SA. Check the number of emails you received for the item return ref number 70596753. I am calling and sending thousands of emails there NO ACTION just robotic non human unprofessional replies.

Zero customer service

Zero customer service. Returned an item and was only partially reimbursed because i used a paid for gift voucher! No one can assist, absolutely ridiculous, i am totally disgusted by Adidas, will never purchase from them again!

Excellent experience

Excellent experience. I was seeking for vegan Adidas Continentals, and they were one of the few stores (including Adidas' website) who carried them. Because the price was so low, I almost believed it was too good to be true. Surprise, surprise, I received the product I requested promptly and in perfect  condition, along with numerous useful shipping alerts. I have nothing to complain about. Keep up the excellent work.

Don't buy Adidas (worse customer service experience

I’ve purchased a running shoes end of November, Unfortunately the shoes got ripped from the front where the big toe, please see attached photo, It’s unfortunate, this is not my first Adidas running shoes as I’ve been using Adidas for the past 15 years or so, however, I've called customer service to inform them about the issue and sent e-mail with photos and everything, that was around three weeks back, since then i've resent the e-mail more than four times and called customer services more than 10 times asking for feedback or to speak to a manager, they keep telling me that the issue will be escalated and a manager will call me within 24 hours, as mentioned that was three weeks back and until now no one is calling or doing anything. i truly did not expect this from a company like Adidas, by all means this is by far the worse customer service i ever encountered, and i will never buy their products ever again.

I didn’t receive my refund from adidas

I didn’t receive my refund from adidas. Already check with the store and they told me the refund around $360 was issue in feb 22 but was not. Checked with PayPal and they said the store didn’t refund that amount. Already talked with both and opened a report problem at the PayPal explaining and confirming with the tracking number that the return was received by the store. Almost two month claiming my refund and Adidas insist that refund was issued on feb 22 and PayPal that the store didn’t issued the refund. It’s unbelievable the way they treat a consumer. Worse online experience also the website is horrible to navigate and don’t have our purchases visible to the consumer?!? Definitely don’t recommend to buy online with adidas and even less trust to PayPal your purchases because they advocate to the scam and not the consumers.

Upon checking refund was already processed on our end last February 26, 2021, please be advised that refund should reflect on your account within a maximum time frame of 3 to 5 business days, however, it will still depend on your financial institution because other bank takes full billing cycle (30 days) before refund gets posted on a customer’s account.

WHY nobody checked properly and saw the mistake before, more then one month trying to receive my refund?!? DEFINITELY last time buying with Adidas.

Hurry! Until supplies last.

I ordered 3 red Trefoil shirts of the same size. It was the lowest price online in comparison to others who sells them. The products arrived in good shape. I checked online to order some other products on good offers but most are already out of stock. I wasn’t warned I should hurry for it’s only until supplies last.
