I ordered from 3 companies on the same…

I ordered from 3 companies on the same day, Alan Howard being the only one to claim next day delivery hence I added other items I needed sooner instead of from the other 2 suppliers. Guess what, the other parcels have arrived after 24 hours and Alan Howard only processed the order 24hours after ordering, absolutely terrible online service.

Friendly, Helpful and Professional service .

First time ordering from the company

First time ordering from the company, I usually use Capital, but thought I’d give this store ago. Ordered a paid for next day delivery, was expecting the parcel as stated on my invoice. The website also states it will be shipped the same working day if ordered before 12. But still not arrived; only after contacting them, they’ve given me an excuse saying system has been down. But no contact from them to apologise and now items I ordered aren’t arriving. Stick with what you know. Defiantly won’t be ordering from here again.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused with the delay on your order.

As you are aware and have stated, our online ordering system was down and we had no communication for a brief period of time on what orders had been placed and by which customers, so we were unable to contact anyone to inform them. Our teams involved worked hard to get this back up and running as soon as possible so that we could complete any outstanding orders but inevitably orders were delayed and we can only apologise about this.

I can assure you that this is not our normal standard and orders that are placed on a next working day delivery are dispatched under those terms.

We offer this service, along with click and collect, in store shopping (across 25 locations) and a local van delivery service also (location dependant).

I am also aware we were out of stock of one of your items online and in normal circumstances we would source this from another location to ensure your order is completely fulfilled. Again, I apologise if this has caused any inconvenience.

Jodie at Rochdale was truly amazing a fantastic colourist who gave fantastic info and was extremely patient with my enquiry I have been a customer at Rochdale branch for over 25 years the ladies working there are fantastic always helpful and happy to help I have an autistic adult daughter who loves funky hair colours but is very fussy and I struggle to explain to her why she cannot have certain colours and picture looks 🙈 but last week Jodie spent over 30 minutes with us both explaining both to me and my Daughter the process and how colour works my Daughter picked a colour Jodie Jodie all I can say is Thank you your expertise resulted in a fabulous result making one very happy Daughter x

Friendly helpful team

I visited the store today after calling in advance regarding the reactivation of my account. The manager was really helpful in getting me back ‘active’.
Everyone that I encountered was smiley and welcoming.
Nice to feel like a valued customer, which seems to be a rarity these days.

Delayed Deliveries and Lack of Communication

I’m writing to express my ongoing frustration with the service I’ve recently received. Despite paying for next day delivery, my last two orders were not dispatched on time, and no communication was provided to explain the delays.

I understand that your business may be experiencing a high volume of orders, and your very busy but if that is the case, I would suggest reviewing your staffing levels or logistical processes. Many of your competitors continue to deliver reliably within the promised timeframes, if your unable to offer this service please remove it as a choice on your website , so we can all make informed decisions ( ORDER NUMBERS
