Alaska Leather has the briefcase I have been looking for listed in their online store. However, it was not made in the heavier grade of leather I was searching to find. I contacted them, and they were able to construct the briefcase in the leather I desired. It arrived today, and I am ecstatic!! I never thought I'd find an online retailer willing to do custom work! What a great experience this has been.

I do like the product thus far and, if it lasts as long as it should, my complaints will be water under the bridge. However, since I am answering this early on, I need to address the packaging. For a product that costs more than $100, I would expect packaging that is more professional. However, it was just in a cloth bag and then inside a standard shipping bag, no box or anything so it showed up rather collapsed. This could be drastically improved.

Product was good, the only negative thing was when I received it it was rolled up. Not ideal for looking good with a brand new bag. It had rolled edges that made it look funny when I told people it was new. The leather still looks funny today and it’s been a few weeks.

Messenger/laptop bag is really nice and leather is very good. Delivery was as fast as advertised. Didn't give 5 stars only because of the packaging: it was so tight that it ended up squeezing the bag that now looks a little smooshed on one side. But I trust it will smooth out with use.

I ordered a custom backpack from them. Shipping had some issues around it, but customer service team was able to help speed up this process. Great communication from Alaskan Leather team who were consistent throughout the whole process all the from way designing to shipping. Love the final result!

The shipping was okay wasn't expecting it to come fast because of where its coming from. I got this bag as a birthday gift for a special friend. When it came in, I did inspect it. The leather wasn't good quality. It felt old, used, like it had been on the shelf for decades. On the seam of the threads were plastic that I had to sit and pull them out. So im just praying the bag will hold up to the use.

The merchandise appears well-made, I have not used it yet so not able to tell comfort or manageability with contents but the material feels genuine.

I am very satisfied with my purchase, the leather quality and craftsmanship is top notch, I would highly recommend this product.

Love my new leather backpack. I only with the zippers were a little easier to open. I fear they might break but I am under warranty for a year so I will see. Great look and functionality

Very good customer service.

My husband purchased this wallet thinking it was American made based on the name of the company. He should have researched better. However it was already purchased when I looked into the company. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt and telling him it will be fine the reviews were decent. Unfortunately when it finally arrived we were extremely disappointed. The wallet is not stitched through and was coming apart to the point that you can see the glue that was used to slap it together. Definitely not a quality leather product. It looks cheap and was a complete waste of money.

The leather bag was nice but paying the duty tax by an unexpected FedEx bill was not expected. Tariffs and fees are not paid by Alaskan Leather Company. This company ships products in from Pakistan.

The company posted a reply, which is NOT true. I am still getting bills from FedEx despite my appeal to Alaskan Leather company and FedEx.
