The new 5-connection monthly limit is frustrating. It undermines the site's core purpose of connecting business owners and makes the free tier far less useful. As it stands, LinkedIn is a more viable platform for unlimited networking.

The right mix of business and consumer networking
As the owners of a mom and pop market research company for 32 years, we are often called on to network with primarily consumers to build our respondent database and also to sell our services to businesses. We are caught between sites like LinkedIn in which our competitors and clients can see our public data gathering or purely social media in which it is hard to target our audience. Alignable occupies a sweet spot between B2B and consumers with a business orientation, which is basically everyone.

Introduction To Alignable…
When I first was introduced to Alignable, I thought it was just another communication hub like the other social media platforms but it is so much more than that. I have found clients using Alignable but the only draw back is when I want to advertise my business, there is a fee to do so. In this coming year I will start using the advertising services that it has. I've referred my other business associates to it and now I am trying to find out how I can become an affiliate marketer for it.

A great way to Network!
I like the app it's easy to use and very user friendly. Once I got it dialed in to know what I need for referrals it started recommending good connections. I've met a few great networking contacts through Alignable, and enjoy the many options for online or in person networking meetings.

I want to thank the Alignable team for addressing my first review and sharing some insights to improve.my experience.
Here's where I find myself after trying real hard to improve my experience.
My latest 5 invites still average 20% acceptance rate. My network is growing an average of 1 member per month.
Connections seldomly accept to meet and take connection passed a click. Not really networking if no one talks to one another. Commenting isn't going to help us become referral partners if we don't know each other.
I can't post anything without it getting flagged as promotional content. I'm a social seller, i dont pitch in my content. So how else can i share content about my business with out talking about what i do and invite people to experience what im building in my community.
Than there's the referral sitting in my profile which i cant access because referrals are only visible to paid members. So not only does my reputation get impacted but so does the referers.
I encourage you to keep working on improving the user experience if you want us to pay for this service.

Thanks for the feedback. I have escalated the information you shared to the team who owns moderation. You can promote to your network freely. However in groups and communities, you do have to post topics that are relevant to that topic only. Position yourself as a subject matter expert or give your experiences and ask others to give their feedback.
Connection Requests are accepted at a 80% higher rate if you write a custom message explaining why you want to meet the person and ask a conversation starter question such as "how did you start your business" or "how did you get into your industry" - Unsure if you are doing this, but its very helpful to get those requests accepted.
Everyone can receive recommendations, those are not behind a paywall. The only thing you cannot do with a recommendation as a free member is to spotlight it on your profile in a special section. Otherwise all recommendations are able to be accepted, rejected, edited, and removed. This is not or has never been a paid feature.
This sounds like something is not quite right - please contact our support team to get that recommendation issue taken care of
