After spending ages setting up the allgo account, filling in all the information, I got an error message that the data entered does not match.
I rang allgo they said the activation code was incorrect and to ring the org that sent me the card.
The organization who sent me the card confirmed the activation code was correct.
I emailed allgo and was told to reenter everything, it did not work...
Unfortunately, this is not the first time the allgo card failed, the set up for the last card did not work either, allgo acknowledged that the activation code was correct and did not know why it was not working.
The set up is clunky and clearly has issues. The only positive is that allgo swiftly respond to emails. However, at the moment I still can't use the latest card I've been sent...

The biggest load of bollox of a card. Create account, full life history, password setup and not accepting. I’d burn the money before accepting one again. Very Very poor.

This card is more hassle than anything else, checkbalance & register sites are very outdated. Would have liked to book a holiday with my bonus, declined. So booked holiday with debit card, thinking Id just use allgo card for the month for regular spending..worked once in Tesco, following week declined(max swipe something) but card had not been used that day. Put Diesel in car, declined. So, very unreliable I suppose, unless making only a couple of large purchases, where you know for certain it will be accepted, disappointed.
Terrible service
Terrible service. I would avoid completely. Awful to deal with if you have any issues.
€20 for a replacement card.... Absolute robbery.
Lock your card without your permission.
Better off with any other gift voucher for staff.
Useless
Useless. My company uses these (hopefully this is the last year). Constant issues. Absolutely ridiculous. One basic job - click the link to get the gift card in your wallet and yet they can't ever deliver this objective. Reviews speak for themselves (2*)
Extremely disappointing experience
I am genuinely disgusted by the level of service we received. We were repeatedly assured that a major issue affecting our entire order was being prioritised and would be fully resolved, only to later discover that this was not true.
The lack of transparency, follow-through, and basic communication was unacceptable and caused unnecessary frustration and stress. This situation was very poorly handled from start to finish (however still not resolved). I would not recommend this service based on our experience.

Brilliant experience dealing with Allgo for our corporate cards this year. The support we received from Luke McDonald was excellent, nothing was too much trouble, we had quite a few orders with different delivery addresses and a few queries along the way, his response time at this busy time of year was impressive. The Allgo online ordering is simple and the process from order to delivery was great, we would highly recommend. Happy Christmas

I got a card today and have been hours trying to open an account. Very poor Service.
20 day wait
The card I was supplied with was refused three times in different locations. After a day on the phone I was told the card was faulty and they would have to issue a new one, which would take 20 days!!Meanwhile they have my money.
Never came across such poor customer service.

Following on from an earlier review I wrote where I said the issues had been resolved. It took another week of phone calls and eventually having to refuse to get off the phone to resolve the issue. Will not be ordering from Allgo again
Worst customer service I have ever experienced.
I ordered two physical cards on behalf of a company. When the cards arrived, I followed the website instructions to activate them but could not activate either card after multiple attempts.
I reached out to customer support via email and got a response back the next day asking for the card numbers. I responded with the numbers but never heard back again.
After sending multiple follow up emails I decided to ring the helpline.
The helpline number rings and then cuts out, even though it was at 3pm which was well within the helpline opening hours marked on the site of 09:00-17:30.
The next day I rang again and was placed on a waitlist at position 13. When I got down to position 9, the phonecall abruptly ended. When I attempted to call back, it was the same issue as the previous day. I am a week passed since receiving my cards and still have no resolution. I will never use this company again. Steer clear.
Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience with Allgo Gift Card. Activation is a hassle with complicated verification steps. Online payments are extremely difficult – most transactions fail despite 3D Secure being enabled. The card feels outdated and inconvenient to use.
Appalling customer service
Appalling customer service. I have been trying to use my card to pay for an online order for 24 hours now. Impossible to get through to them on the phone (waits of 45 minutes and 60 minutes and the call terminates) Today I got three emails from a customer service representative who is useless. I wont be using them again.
Truly terrible experience
Truly terrible experience, money sent to them by bank trasfer and then mysteriously couldnt access my funds on the card. Sent an email to customet support and nothing... not even a we are looking into it email. Please avoid this company.

As for all do I would highly recommended the process can be frustrating especially for the non digital age profile but stick with it
