Missing Printer. No communication. Took a week and multiple calls to resolve.
I ordered an Epson printer and on the day of pick up, in the box was a Lenovo Chromebook. I called the customer service number and they told me to return the computer to the box and they would resolve it the following day.
2 days later there was no email, no call and the order shows up as 'complete' on my account. It's now been over a week, and still no information from their side.
They have my money, I have no printer and I have called their 225 340 111 number on multiple times only to be told that they are 'trying to work out the problem and how to solve it.' All I want is for them to send me the printer and I really don't care how they internally messed up but I'm still not getting it.
I really should've gone with Mall.cz or CZC.cz where I've never had this kind of problem before.
Update: It seems the best way to get a result is to write a complaint to the complaints division on the website. After writing this review and writing to the complaints department at Alza.cz I got a reply within 2 hours, a phone call the same day and the order was shipped the following day. One plus: they work well in English, which was a relief.

I don't recommend Alza.cz this is really bad....

Bad delivery service!
We ordered a washing machine (order 471 806 491)because it just broke-down a few days before our holiday. Delivery confirmed on Wednesday. I reschedule my meeting to Thursday. The delivery got moved to Thursday because of the weather conditions that i totally understand. I called support, please come after 18:00 because no one will be home. They called around 11:00 we will be there in 5 min. “No you can't, please come tonight or Friday MORNING because of our holiday”. Guess what, they will come between 18:30 and 20:30. I called at least 4 times with support (who where very friendly and spoke good English) try to do my best to work something out with the delivery. Flexibility has to come from both sides.

Support like slowpoke: if you pay for your order, missed and accidentally canceled or you want cancel to choose other laptop model — you CAN’T! (support words)
You need to wait 5 days to receive a refund, and make a new order or renew missed canceled order.
But for next day sales manager sent email to my address saying: ‘WE RENEWED YOUR ORDER, you can pickup your laptop’ :))))
The attitude towards customers at the pickup points is honestly terrible, they will not help you carry a large box to the car, though it is a free option.
So if you have heart problems then die and carry the box yourself! 🙂🙂🙂
And they don’t even answer you in support about this 🥴

They are good until smth they deliver…
They are good until smth they deliver is broken. Paid 2.000czk for one item, sent it back for additional money to Prague for the reclamation department, never saw money, or substitute item. Never again, there are plenty of other competitors.

Hello, I would like to express my deep disappointment with my last experience with Alza following my Order 468491862. After spending a long time on your website choosing a product under the Alza Rental program being obliged to create a new account to be able to place this order, and after waiting in line twice and for a long time, the agent at the counter finally informs me that my application is rejected because I have a work permit and not a permanent residence card.
1- You must indicate this on your website well and clearly so that your clients know that you do not trust them if they do not have a permanent residence.
2- This proves that the relationship with your customers is only "give and take" and nothing else.
3- Please also note that even a citizen with cards in good standing may not pay his debts and that an expat has all the means to honor his commitments much more than you think.
4- This was my last transaction with Alza and I will inform everyone about this hidden discrimination you are doing.
5- Please proceed with refunding my money as soon as possible
You have one less customer, congrats !!

Good service, bad third party delivery methods
I am an expat living in Prague. There seems to be a real problem here for services to call you on a non-czech number. However, with my first home-delivery purchase at Alza, not only did they call me, but they tried 3 times (I was asleep at 6:50 in the morning with my phone on silent). Then they were able to reach me by calling the doorbell, which I specified had a different name than my own (since I just moved in and didn't manage to change it).
So I have decided to order everything from them because of their delivery. However, on my second order, they've sadly used the czech post, not AlzaExpress. Completely different story. The czech post just sends me a delivery failure email and tells me my package is ready to be picked up at the post. No phone call, no bell door ring, nothing. I chose to pay on delivery 138 extra to get it at home and now the post office just asks me to carry a chair and a monitor back home on my own. I have 3 more orders from them, sadly one of them is also delivered with the czech post, and two are with DPD. I am curious how these will go. In any case, from my personal experience, if you have a foreign number/your post address is not straight forward, I don't recommend you to pay online. I chose the pay on delivery method and I am glad for it. At least if my items are not delivered to me, I don't lose anything.
I give them 4 stars because I was very happy with the first delivery, and the item as well. Also because when I decided to cancel an order that I placed, which was not on stock, they gave me the refund the same day. However, if they continue to use delivery services that are so unprofessional, you can find yourself in my situation, where instead of having your home office chair and monitor for comfort, you have to work in bad conditions and wait an extra amount of time without your fault whatsoever.

I love the store. Every time i ordered something, it came with no problems. And if i ordered something i didn't want by a mistake, Alza’s support is so great. I've never had any problems with anything.
