6'9" / 280 here. American Tall has hit a homerun with their offerings. This is the first and only place that I can go shop and be certain that they will have my size. In fact, it's literally changed my life, as I can now go out in public in stylish, appropriately sized clothes, rather than looking like a freakshow wearing things that are way too small, and trying to avoid being noticed. As with all online shopping, sometimes you have to order and return a couple of times to hone in on your size, but they have an easy, hassle free return policy that just works. Thanks for doing what you do, American Tall. It's truly appreciated, and it's been life changing.

Don't waste your money
I have purchased a pair of cargo pants, three button up shirts, and two pairs of sweat pants. The shirts are great without issues. However, the sweatpants have completely fallen apart in just a few months. The waist bands are warped and the fabric at the seams of the drawstring and ankles are literally disintegrating. The cargo pants I loved but they had a very strange problem. They were about four inches too long and a bit loose in the waist when I bought them but I liked the fit. After every wash they would shrink just a little. This continued for months until finally they had shrunk 5 inches in length and the waist was so tight I couldn't breath. Mind you, I take great care of my clothes and did not gain any weight. The overall quality of the clothing is very poor for the prices. I'm really disappointed and will likely not order from them again. Buyer beware!

American Tall…disappointing
In fairness I’ve been a loyal and frequent customer of American Tall. However my most recent purchase I paid for expedited shipping and when the timeline was missed, I got a very quick BOT reply that shipping fees are non refundable. This was escalated to a human, who then sent me their policy which stated expedited delivery was 2-5 days, and explained my order would arrive outside the paid for date expected. Still no refund. As a now “previous” loyal customer I’m left to only congratulate American Tall on their success to the point that loyal customers mean absolutely nothing. What a disappointing overall experience.
UPDATE - today I was notified that American Tall has refunded my expedited shipping charges. As I mentioned above, I’ve been a loyal customer and this reversal will keep me as a loyal customer. Thank you!

Poor experience at best
Poor experience at best. Ordered 5 polo shirts and a pair of jeans, paid the fee for expedited shipping, then monitored the shipping process through the tracking number that they gave me. The label was created but American Tall took over 10 days just to get it to the shipper, then almost a week to get to my house. When I finally recieved the clothes, I found the quality to be poor, and the fit was significantly off. I have since returned everything. I won't be doing business with American Tall again.

Decent merchandise; terrible service
Many of their products are very nice, but their sizing and product quality is incredibly inconsistent. And given that their return policy leaves you out a significant amount of money, it is a risk buying anything.
But by far the worst part is actually getting your order. They can take a week or more to ship anything, and the shipping method they use is abysmal. I live within a five hour drive of the point of origin, and it typically takes 2-3 weeks to get an order from the date I place it. Additionally, out of maybe 8-10 total orders, 2 of mine were outright lost. And I had to contact them to get them to refund/resend. They clearly do not monitor their own shipments. Overall, the products can be great, but the experience is terrible.

Our return policy offers free returns for store credit or exchanges, and for refunds there is a $9 fee for North American customers. If shopping outside North America, International return fees can vary depending on several factors, including the destination, package size, weight, and carrier rates. RETURN RIP OFF FEE
I ordered 3 lots of trousers from this company and have decided to keep 1. I tried to do a return and they want to charge me $45 for a shipping fee from the UK for both return items that was never made clear on the order or their website and I feel I have been scammed and ripped off. It is impossible to speak to anyone to discuss this.

American Tall Joggers
I order online quite often for myself and my family, and never had an issue with any their products. I find American Tall clothing is made of extremely great quality. And whatever I order has always arrived in a timely fashion.

Love these joggers! Excellent quality, extremely soft even after you wash them a few times! And never shrunk at all!! I will definitely be buying more in different colours!

Frustrating Inventory and Return Policies
I’ve ordered from American Tall several times over the past few years. In general, their products are well made and tend to fit better than most options available for taller individuals. When you find something that works, it’s genuinely a great product.
Unfortunately, the overall experience is undermined by ongoing issues with sizing variations, inventory, and their return/exchange policy. Many of the better items sell out quickly and often remain out of stock for extended periods—sometimes appearing to be discontinued altogether without clear communication. This makes it impossible to rely on them for repeat purchases.
My most recent experience highlights these issues. After multiple purchases and returns due to quality and sizing variations, I finally found a pair of sweatpants that fit well. Shortly after, they went out of stock again. Normally that wouldn’t be a major issue, but their exchange policy only allows swaps for the exact same item—which is often unavailable. Refunds are issued as store credit, not back to the original payment method, which limits flexibility.
I’ve now been sitting on store credit trying desperately to use it. When an item I liked finally came back in stock, I placed an order for 6 pairs of varying colors knowing this might be my only shot at getting them. About a week later, I was notified that the order had been canceled due to inaccurate inventory. None of the items were actually available.
Customer service response was robotically polite with cut/paste responses but ultimately unhelpful—offering a 20% discount on a future order. While appreciated in theory, it’s difficult to use a discount when most items remain out of stock. I'd settle for being able to use the money they owe me at this point.
American Tall has some decent products, but until inventory reliability and return policies improve, the overall customer experience remains frustrating.

This place has become incredibly shady when it comes to returns. I used to love shopping here, but the customer service has seriously gone downhill.
Their website had errors that wouldn’t let me process an exchange, so instead of fixing it properly, they (Rechel) made me pay for the item a second time and wait days for a resolution. After all that, they still charged me a return fee.
Unacceptable and frustrating from start to finish. Buyer beware.

Honnêtement, super belle expérience avec American Tall
C’est déjà pas facile de trouver des vêtements quand t’es grand, mais eux, ça fit vraiment comme il faut. La qualité est là aussi, ça paraît que c’est bien fait et que ça va durer.
Mais surtout, leur service à la clientèle est vraiment solide. Ils répondent vite, sont faciles à rejoindre et cherchent vraiment à aider. J’ai eu droit à de très bonnes ententes, ce qui est assez rare de nos jours.

Honestly, really great experience with AmericanTall.
It’s already hard to find clothes when you’re tall, but their stuff actually fits properly. The quality is solid too — you can tell it’s well made and built to last.
What stood out the most though is their customer service. They reply quickly, are easy to deal with, and genuinely try to help. I was able to get some really good arrangements, which is pretty rare these days.
