They are thieves. Don't trust them!

This unit is mainly assigned to recharging DC devices such as phones, smart watches and tablets. It's doing that just fine with its 1.5kwh LiFePo4 battery. I appreciate the beep when pressing each On/Off button because it lets us know when it is on/off. I do wish the MPPT had a higher Voltage max then 60V and a higher Amp max of 10A. When solar charging, I could only achieve about 400w using 3-200w folding solar panels. Also, port covers that are easier to open would be nice to have.

Regarding your experience with solar charging—thank you for bringing this up. When using three 200W solar panels, it's completely understandable to expect higher output. However, due to natural energy conversion losses and the influence of light conditions and the surrounding environment, it's normal that the charging power doesn't reach the full 600W. Even with optimal connections—whether in series or parallel—achieving 100% efficiency isn't always possible. Rest assured, the ~400W range you're seeing is within the expected performance.

As for the port covers, we truly appreciate your feedback. We’ve reported this to our factory team for future improvements. In the meantime, for more convenient use, we recommend not pressing the covers in too tightly to allow easier access.

Overall a very smooth transaction

Overall a very smooth transaction and good customer service, the only hiccup was with the payment, for some reason my bank got in between my credit card and the vendor and required a code to proceed, thats never happened to me before.

Not a second thought before buying from them again

After owning for about 3 months, The unit is great. Easy to carry and will run my side by side fridge for 17+ hours. Only problem was a 120v plug cover broke off after 2 uses. Not a big deal. The best was their Customer service was great! About a week after my purchase the price dropped. I contacted them and they refunded the difference. Then within about a month the unit went on sale and they gave me a second refund for the difference of the sale price. No other company would have done the second refund. I would buy again from them without blinking an eye.

Great company to buy from

I ordered my electric generator and was so pleased when i got it. They packed it with care and not a scratch was on it. I then ordered the solar panel to charge it. I wanted something that was environmentally good for the planet. No fumes and no storing of gas. I feel
Safe using it. I feel they are pioneers in helping to save our planet. This product is solid and safe. I plan on buying another one and more solar panels to be able to run my whole house in the future in a disaster or even when the electric goes down. I highly recommend this company. They will answer any questions you have. It takes a few days to get an answer but give them a chance as they are a small
Company with a big future.

I had a broken display on one of the…

I had a broken display on one of the item I bought out of 2. I returned it but asked not to send me another one but they refused. I didn't realize there is no return! The reason I don't like them is the noise level of the fans! Not good if you need it beside you. Plus Purea don't have app access! WHY! I have eco flow products and they are great. I went for saving some money but got what I paid for! Lesson learned.

A return label was then provided so you could send the damaged unit back to us. After checking with the shipping carrier, we’ve confirmed that the damage occurred during transit, and we promptly filed a claim on your behalf to resolve the issue.

Regarding the fan noise, we understand that quieter operation may be preferred, especially if the unit is used in close proximity. The fan noise on the Purea 3 operates below 60 dB under standard usage, and it may vary depending on the power load. We also understand your concern about app connectivity; at this time, the current Purea model does not support app access. Please rest assured that we are continually working on ways to improve our products and address user feedback like yours.

Logistic issues

Logistic issues. It wasn't until I called the fedex to find out what the issue was and they told me that I needed to contact the shipper. My order was placed on Oct 1,2024 and on Oct 17th they just sent out a new unit for me. Still waiting for my order

Best Value for Backup Power

I've researched a number of other brands and AmpAura provides the most power for the price. Everything works great as it should. I'm restoring an off grid cabin and the Purea ran my compressor and charged my power tool batteries and radio like a champ.

Ampaura’s Purea

Participated in Ampaura’s recent contest and received coupon for product after following contest rules. Delivery was prompt with correct tracking information. Have tested the product using a few different meters to verify output and charging times. So far has met all expectations. Look forward to continue using in the future.
