This firm offered hearing aid services via an opticians chain called SeeHear with branches in Marsden, Meltham and Uppermill, West Yorkshire. Needing an optician based in my local area I went to Allegro in Marsden. They were good opticians but when I needed to renew my old hearing aids from I decided to take advantage of the new service offered by Amplify Hearing. What a mistake that was! The hearing test seemed comprehensive but I was never really happy about the efficiency of it. The aids were made by GN-Net but the full capabilities of them were never fully achieved. The service offered by Amplify Hearing was very poor and was only available every two weeks on a Monday in Meltham. The audiologist did not exploit the full capabilities of the aids. I have now gone to a recommended specialist again using GN-Net aids but what a difference! The hearing test was very comprehensive, is making full use of the capabilities of the GN-Net aids and is making regular adjustments and tuning with regular appointments. Most importantly, I can now hear properly and clearly again and can adjust the aids to make best use of the facilities offered by the GN-Net devices. Never use Amplify Hearing, they are useless with no proper contact details.

I would not recommend this company for ear wax removal. My own experience has proved to be catastrophic for myself due to an practitioner carrying out micro suction on my left ear. This has damaged my ear causing tinnitus.

First class service on fitting and supply of hearing aids, with excellent follow-up appointments. Hearing aid quality superb. Highly recommend.
