I live in rural New Mexico which is a non-disclosure state and pretty difficult to build a protest. So I love the idea of appeal desk getting the comparables in minutes versus me trying to find them at realtor offices. But a pill dust refunded my $49 because they couldn't find enough comparables to support my protest. But the silver lining is the assessor didn't have the comparables either. So the valuation increases I was experiencing from the assessor's office we're totally without foundation and simply arbitrary.
So I emailed a pill dusk and told them I'd be willing to pay the $49 even for one or two comparables that were weak just to have something to present. But incredibly they would not take my money and they still gave me some wonderful input and data that I would never have found anywhere else.
In this day and age where companies are just so money hungry and greedy I can't tell you how refreshing it is to find a company with honesty and integrity that bent over backwards to make sure I went into my protest fully equipped. My hearing was on August 21st so I still don't have a determination. But if it wasn't for appeal desk input it would have been a much harder mountain to climb on my own.
