I think this has always been a fantastic idea, have used it for quite some time since it was menu aid. the fact that it is now free is great for low-income households and helps greatly with saving money!

I am a little confused as to why the change, i am struggling with the new layout, before it was easy to find and plan weekly menus, now it’s hard to find most of our loved recipes and plan our weeks. we often would print out the recipe for what we are having, we have week on and week off with some of our children and would have serves 4 some weeks and serves 6 another. Now there is no way to change this for printing? it seems to be stuck on print 6... even when changing to 4 in the recipe. and suggested menus seem a little far from what we would normally plan..
Not a fan of the change.. cant seem to change personal preferences either once set..

This is my first time using Appetise for a full week. So far so good. Have enjoyed the recipe for falafel as a nice easy starter.
Looking forward to getting into more recipes 😋

Was so easy to make great Kai and bought exact ingredients with NO waste. e.g. bought only 5 button mushrooms which was all that recipe required

I love this site the website even though under development is rather simple and easy to use
Saving me a ton of money and time when shopping love being able to chose what I have in the cupboard to save even more at the supermarket it’s a big fat yessss from us

This such an awesome website.
Super user friendly. I can menu plan ahead and choose from so many recipes which makes changing up what I cook and we eat so much more interesting.
It is so easy to use, and now I can menu plan ahead of time so I can order seamlessly with my local Pak N Save online getting a time slot / pick up time much easier because I am now more organised with this amazing FREE website.
Can not thank the Appetise team enough for providing this website. I am less stressed about meal planning, our budget is better and I am happier cooking!

Love it. We use this site faithfully. Love that the site is kiwi. Huge variety and we have loved them all so far. Biggest issue is wanting to keep our favs in rotation but keep trying new ones! We tried dumplings for the first time due to your site and they are now a big hit regular.

I don’t know what happened??! Menu aid was an awesome tool for meal planning and shopping.
I used it to compile my weeks meals and used the notes to say which nights we were having takeout or a recipe from another website so family know what we’re having.
Taking away the days of week and ability to add notes to meal plan has ruined this for us.
The day of the change our whole weeks list disappeared and I’m left with food I don’t know what meal it’s for.
Also- the recipes seem to have changed. I can’t find most of the recipes we used before.

So easy to use. Simplifies shopping and widens my choice of delicious meals. All the time consuming work is done for me.

Menuaid/appetise has been a great help with deciding on what to make for dinner while sticking within a budget and making delicious meals.
I have had so much fun and will continue you use the website, tho I do wish we could access the shopping list without making a plan.

I have just started using the recipes and plan my week cooking. Wow so far it is so tasty. My hubby and Grandchildren love it.

SUCH a great tool. Incredibly useful for expanding your own repertoire, and those weeks you just can’t think of a single dinner idea. All the convenience of a mealkit service without the delivery and ridiculous prices!! Will be recommending to all my friends and whanau.

MenuAid was so easy to use. The whole family have marked our favourites and are ready to start cooking. The first recipe was easy to follow and was very yummy. Can’t wait for tomorrow’s dinner.

I put in ingredients i wanted to use and a recipe appeared like magic. It was easy to make and tasted amazing. I don’t really enjoy cooking but liked this idea as I had control over what i used. I am loving it.

I love the way this company has structured these meals. A lot of thought had gone into them and I was excited and confident to have a go at cooking these meals. I am a solo dad with four kids of differing ages and these went down perfect, perhaps for the chiu chow chilli oil which I totally loved, not so much 3 of the kids but I believe you need to try new foods in order to appreciate them. Thank you for the opportunity to try these delicious meals 😀

Because this is a NZ site I think the dishes are more tailored to ingredients that we would commonly get in NZ rather than 'exotic' or imported ingredients. Also great for developing meal plans and creating grocery lists.
