Terrible customer service. I have contacted them via email provided 3 times with no response (tried calling and was told I “had to contact via email” for my type of issue — not receiving something I have been charged for) very frustrated. I would not agree with reviews calling this a reputable company.

April Cornell is a reputable company. When you order something, it arrives at your destination. Quality is always as stated on their website. They have an excellent website, easy to navigate. I have ordered from them for years. There is only one downside and that is the cost of delivery to your home, it is pricy. Return shipping must be paid by the customer as well. Generally the cost of return shipping is so high, it isn't worth the effort. So if you miscalculate on sizing, you have to reorder (for which there is no shipping charge) and pay for the item twice. So that is an issue. Generally the sizing is generous. If you love this cottage core style of clothing, April Cornell works. A great deal of attention to details such as mother of pearl buttons, embroidery, gathers, lace, and other fashion touches that are rarely found in clothing today. Color blends are extraordinary and show a master artistic hand. These are not close fitting, body con type of garments. They are flowy, with ties at back to adjust the fit.

Items that were ordered were lovely, however my order was incomplete and missing an item. When I contacted customer service, I received no reply and no help from anyone. That was two weeks ago. Subsequent emails to their customer service address have gone unanswered. Terrible shopping experience and would not recommend

Happy with a pretty table cloth that looks good while still in the packaging. Pillowcases are pretty but feel slightly thin. Pretty dish towels that I thought would be polished cotton turned out to be a waffle weave but I didn't pick up on that in the description. I went back and looked at the listing on my laptop and was able to make out from the photos that the fabric was textured although that was not apparent from the pics on my phone. Lesson: always make sure that the pics you are looking at are actually large enough to see!

I live rural and do a lot of online shopping. I received excellent customer service here: I had emailed to cancel an order (I had ordered the wrong size) and it was taken care of within 24 hours. When I followed up with a phone call, someone actually answered the phone and was very friendly and professional. The quality of the two items I received is very good and both items fit according to their size chart (no exchanges necessary). I took a star off because shipping is expensive compared to other online merchants.

Expensive dress was cheaply made with low quality fabric and spray painted dots. It screams “sweatshop.” The quality is much below what one would expect to find at a big box discount retailer. I left a one star review on their website which was not posted. False 5-star reviews only were posted for this dress.

Love everything from April Cornell! More beautiful than the photos! April’s Attic has huge discounts and a large selection. Customer service (Lori) was amazing, sizing was right on, and shipping was fast even during Covid 19. I will definitely be purchasing from April Cornell in the future.

April Cornell carries lovely clothing and home goods. I've been a regular customer for years. My 2-star rating is for their shipping and returns practices once you place an order online. They are very slow to ship your items, despite their steep shipping rates, but they are incredibly slow to process reimbursements on returns. The last order I placed was not shipped until 7 days after I paid for it. For returns, credit cards are not credited until 4 to 7 weeks after they have received the return. Through all these lengthy delays, April Cornell Customer Service has NEVER contacted me to alert me of the situation. Each time I've called them to follow up, the representative is pleasant but unapologetic. This is obviously how they choose to conduct business, but to me, that is unacceptable in today's marketplace.

I go back to this company through the years for quality clothing that lasts. If I need to return something it is done with courtesy by their customer service. They even follow my delivery instructions when I order online and don’t call in an order. They make more clothing in rayon these days when I expect cotton, so now I am careful to check the material before purchase.
