They are friendly, reliable and thorough. You can specify specific hot areas/pests and they have the solution with them. Also you can get free touchups if a problem arises between visits.

Generally I really like Aptive Pest Control. I didn’t give it 5 stars because there are inconsistencies when it comes to their service technicians. Some do a better, more thorough job than others!!

Technician sprayed a milky substance…

Technician sprayed a milky substance onto our windows, shutters and siding. I emailed the Operations Mgr. but have not gotten a reply yet. Waiting for a resolution !

They missed three consecutive appointments without proper notification, leaving me waiting at home all day, then not showing up.

The technician did not notify us of his…

The technician did not notify us of his arrival and did not place a sign in the yard indicating that service was completed.

I was billed $129.00 for service when last month I was told that it was going to be $89.00.

I am not happy.

I assume the pest control is good. I like the way they do the yard area as well as the house and show what's done on the Web. I can't recommend a company to a friend that can't give me a written contract of my agreement that doesn't cut off the bottom quarter of each page when I sign up, or ever (couldn't get 14-inch printed copy, so bottom was cut off on 11-inch paper version they sent me). I have an electronic version but must be at my computer to read it. I also didn't like being pushed to increase my frequency for mosquito control and the yearly cost for it on my second pest control treatment. I had to wrangle out of the employee that it would cost me more as opposed to his being up front about the extra cost.

Amazing service

I love the feedback we get from the technician. This month I was told we had a big yellow jacket next on the side of our house. I told our technician and they sent me a picture of the nests they dug up. It was AMAZING - multiple nests!!! I was so impressed. We very much our service!! Thank you!!

I subscribed to this service because of a yellow jacket infestation and after 3 treatments they are still here

I subscribed to this service because of a yellow jacket infestation I have on my patio. The first tech that came out did a good job breaking up the nest and spraying chemicals to get rid of them. He said they would go away in a day or two. Nope. Called them back and they sent out another guy who sprayed some more chemicals and said they would go away in a day or two. Nope. Sent out a third guy. I think you can guess what happened here. I will just handle it myself and cancel my service.

Do NOT use this company

I hired Aptive Pest Control approximately three months ago for a wasp infestation. Over multiple visits, technicians only performed surface spraying and set traps. The infestation worsened significantly, resulting in hundreds of wasps entering my home.
When I requested a more thorough treatment, the technician stated he was not licensed to remove the nest. I then spoke with a manager who was unprofessional, blamed me for the issue, and refused to provide further assistance.
I chose to cancel my contract and paid a $200 termination fee. I do not recommend this company due to ineffective service, poor communication, and unprofessional conduct.

Good Reliable Service

Technician explained everything to be done, and the materials he was using. Appointment was on time. I have used Aptive for years now, principally to eliminate small sugar ants. They rarely appear, and if/when these pests do, an Aptive technician returns to re-spray. Also, an Aptive representative assisted me with an alternate method to pay. Good experience.

worst ever

the person sat in his car for 15 minutes and then spent less than 2 minutes (on camera) barely spraying around my 4BR home. He never came to the door, never said he was coming beforehand, never sent follow up.... body language on ring camera was like he was half asleep. I had actually sent a note the week prior saying I had to reschedule because i had just seeded my lawn- but nope, he came anyway, and stomped all over my grass.

I have told the lasr 2 people who…

I have told the last 2 people who treated the property that pests (mosquitos, Chiggers) are still out of control and the yard is not worth using around dusk.

Awesome service! The tech who came out did a very thorough job. Since we've had Aptive Pest Control come monthly, our spider population has pretty much been decimated. It's wonderful.

Problematic yellow jacket nest in the ground.

I had a concern about 2 yellow jacket nests in my yard that I tried to patiently ignore as they are useful pollinators. But two adults have been stung multiple times and believed with roadside location it that was an unsafe situation pets and walking passerbys. Aptive is my general household pest company but didn't know if they could handle yellow jacket nests specifically. They assured me they did and came within 24 hours. They use both natural and target chemicals to eradicate in addition to setting up a yellow jacket lure. Generally pretty successful though followed up with some Dawn soap as to two remaining yellow jackets were in the area.
