Good Reliable Service

Technician explained everything to be done, and the materials he was using. Appointment was on time. I have used Aptive for years now, principally to eliminate small sugar ants. They rarely appear, and if/when these pests do, an Aptive technician returns to re-spray. Also, an Aptive representative assisted me with an alternate method to pay. Good experience.

worst ever

the person sat in his car for 15 minutes and then spent less than 2 minutes (on camera) barely spraying around my 4BR home. He never came to the door, never said he was coming beforehand, never sent follow up.... body language on ring camera was like he was half asleep. I had actually sent a note the week prior saying I had to reschedule because i had just seeded my lawn- but nope, he came anyway, and stomped all over my grass.

I have told the lasr 2 people who…

I have told the last 2 people who treated the property that pests (mosquitos, Chiggers) are still out of control and the yard is not worth using around dusk.

Awesome service

Awesome service! The tech who came out did a very thorough job. Since we've had Aptive Pest Control come monthly, our spider population has pretty much been decimated. It's wonderful.

Problematic yellow jacket nest in the ground.

I had a concern about 2 yellow jacket nests in my yard that I tried to patiently ignore as they are useful pollinators. But two adults have been stung multiple times and believed with roadside location it that was an unsafe situation pets and walking passerbys. Aptive is my general household pest company but didn't know if they could handle yellow jacket nests specifically. They assured me they did and came within 24 hours. They use both natural and target chemicals to eradicate in addition to setting up a yellow jacket lure. Generally pretty successful though followed up with some Dawn soap as to two remaining yellow jackets were in the area.

I have had 3 technicians

I have had 3 technicians. THE LAST ONE, named Brian sprayed inside and out (for roaches? Not sure) He dusted for spider webs and treated for the rodents. He was the only technition to do all of this. There is no comunication between "this time" and "next". Eventhough the technicians change. THE FIRST technician said "the next time" my home inside would be treated for rodents. MOVE ALL FURNITURE FROM THE WALL. OF COURSE I did this, OF COURSE the second technician not only did not know; he wasn't even PREPARED to treat outside(???). I have a "year"contract. I WAS LIED to by the sales person who I purchased the contract about the price of the monthly service. I have PURCHASED ON MY OWN a product called First Strike (difethialone). It appears to work. IF I had it to do over, I would have done better reserch. I am "stuck" with this for the next 10 months.

All of the Technicians

All of the Technicians, that came and have serviced my property, did an outstanding job and some even posted pictures afterwards. After 6 years of service, I haven’t had any problems/issues. Keep up doing what you’ve doing. Thank you so very much.

We have had troubles with mosquitoes…

We have had troubles with mosquitoes and knats for the last several months. I have voiced my concern via email, text and spoke with the person who treated my property. No one has acknowledged the issue and tried to resolve it for me. The only difference I have noticed since using Aptive is that ants are no longer an issue. Not sure it’s worth $180.00 a month.

HORNETS!!!!

We had a very large hornets nest that our technician
took care of. Additionally he gave us the key to keep them from returning.

Think twice before using this company

Original appointment was scheduled for 7/18. After technician drove by my house to service another customer in the same neighborhood I received notice that my appointment had to be canceled. I have dogs that use a doggy door at any time so I have to arrange my schedule to be present for all appointments to be able to close off the door and reopen. I lost a day to be able to do other necessary things and had to be an available to do it again on the rescheduled day of 7/22. I was also unaware that I was expected to remove the used traps from garage area as the dirty ones were left and new ones were placed next to the dirty ones. The technician the previous month never checked or replaced them. I also found the used “wet” trap for mosquitoes/ wasps/ flies? lying open in my trash can that I assume I was expected to dispose of. If I had known when my husband signed us up for this service that there was a cancellation cost I would not have agreed to this service. There was also a billing issue but that was resolved.

Nice folks but follow up a concern

The folks from Aptive have all been very nice; however, I was told someone would be out to fix some canisters that my mower ripped (sorry about that). Not sure if this is being scheduled as I haven't heard back since last week.

We will not use them again

They never call before coming like I asked them too. They say they'll call you back but never do. The tech never had a clue what he's supposed to be doing when he comes to the house. My mom is 90 and was so stressed out about all of this.
