We are having an issue with ants and…
We are having an issue with ants and they keep sending people out (at no cost) to try and resolve the issue. This last time Manuel found some ant holes - where they are coming from. This morning there are a lot less ants so we know it’s working!!!

Great service
The technician came late in the afternoon when there were people coming and going, kids in the pool and dogs to transfer in and out of the house. He was very patient and continued to do his work in spite of the chaos.

Paying/having for treatment twice as often as I agreed to
Haven't had any issues with the actual pest control side of the company. Will normally see some small ant hills every once in a while in my backyard, but have never had any issues with bugs around or in the house. Each contract/agreement (12 month) I had signed with them stated 4-5 services/treatments per year. I just cancelled with them after ~6 years and I can only find 2 agreements I had signed (original contract in 2019 and a renewal in 2023). As expected prices have gone up a little, but that wasn't really the issue for cancelling and this review. I had reached out to their Customer Service because I had multiple questions, that they inevitably just ignored and answered 1 item and said they could lower the price $9 per treatment (last treatment 133.99, 124 earlier in the year) and have a good day. I had double checked with my bank account statements and they had completed 8 services in the last year. They couldn't answer any reason as to why I was now having up to 100% more services/charges for the previous agreement. They state I "SHOULD" have received an email stating there was a price increase, yet couldn't provide me the email I was supposedly sent. In the end I should have noticed sooner services were becoming more frequent, but I trusted them thinking they would stay inline with the previous agreements I had signed with them. In this last year I had paid over $1,000 for basic pest control service from Aptive, just accepting when they said I had an upcoming regular service.

No more scorpions or spiders
Aptive is amazing! Since we started using them for pest control 3 years ago I haven’t see scorpions or spiders in my house or yard! That is hard to do where we live because of the huge empty field behind our home. Love their service! Their service techs are very thorough when treating my yard. They do not spray in my home.

Always get a reminder a week ahead, then a 20-30 minute arrival notice, and the technician is always professional, courteous and efficient!
