Dear Dan, the fit of the dress shirt only took one fitting to matched up perfectly i have wore over 15 dress shirts and the bespoke dress shirts u make are perfect it fits and will last a long time and will be comfortable to wear in. LOVE IT

My wife was going through stuff and pulling things out to donate and gave away my favorite scarf. When I found it missing on a day I planned to wear it, I ordered a new one. I immediately heard from the owner of the company complimenting my choice. I told him the story and I don’t know if he pulled some strings behind the scenes, but the new one has already shipped and will be here less than a week from when I discovered it missing. That is impressive, since I don’t think they knit them until they are ordered. That is pretty impressive customer service.

I was a big fan and customer of AOS since the early days (back to 2016). Over the years, I've recommended them to colleagues and friends, as well as purchased suits, coats, and other online bespoke garments. A recent experience completely soured my view of the Company and, needless to say, I am no longer a fan or customer. Details below.

When AOS came out with the 'Essential' (MTO) collection, I purchased a jacket. Unfortunately, the jacket didn't work out and I exchanged it for a suit. Given I was exchanging it, the typical 20% restocking fee was able to be waived. When the new suit came, it was clearly a bad fit and I attempted to exchange it for store credit to use on another AOS purchase, this time, in the 'Signature' (bespoke) line, as it was clear that the MTO line wasn't working for me.

When reached out to Dan to exchange the item and sent him photos of the suit and where I thought the fit was off. This isn't my first suit and I'm quite keen to what looks good and what doesn't. He responded saying 'its as good as it's going to get' with the MTO garments and he suggests I stick with the 'Signature' collection, which is more than 2X the price. He also said that the suit would be made better with alterations, although the fit issues related to the length of the jacket and buttoning stance, which cannot be materially adjusted in alterations. It was clear he was trying to get me to keep the ill-fitting garment.

When I asked for an exchange, he said that, not only would he not exchange it, but I'd have to pay a 20% restocking fee for BOTH the jacket in my initial order, as well as the suit. Although I told him I'd just go ahead and purchase another AOS item, he insisted I pay this 40% restocking fee upon sending back the suit. I looked through the site to see whether there was any mention of this policy, or anything related, and there was nothing. I had also not been informed that this was even a possibility when placing my exchange order. A 40% restocking fee for items that cost over $1,000 is absolutely outrageous and predatory.

At this point, it became clear that I had been taken advantage of, nickel-and-dimed, that my loyalty over the years was not valued at all, and than the Company only cares about selling garments, even ill-fitting ones to customers it "cares about" (despite preaching customer satisfaction, fit above all else, etc). When I reached out to Dan via text to try and remedy the situation, he essentially said there is nothing that can be done and then just stopped replying to me.

Unfortunately, this was my last time buying AOS products, or recommending them to anyone.

This is my 2nd purchase from Articles of Style. When I found out they were offering more casual off the rack options, I was super excited. I bought some of the Gentelman's tees, the Chunky waffle sweater, and a pair of pants, and I was not disappointed! The clothes arrived a few weeks after I ordered them and they all fit great! Highly recommend!

Personalized and collaborative. AOS staff listened to what I was looking for and offered detailed advice on how to achieve those goals. Dan was very personable on our zoom consultation call. I'm excited to see the garments when they are finished and delivered. AOS was very responsive via email.

This latest purchase was a 3D merino wool knit toque. It is warm and comfortable (no seams!). I even got money advice on how to wear it from one of Dan's videos - double cuff baby! Looks so good.

What else can I say- I got married in an AOS suit I've had now for 6 years, have worn their garments (suits, dress shirts, ties, topcoats) to job interviews, nights out, special events, and pretty much whenever I can since 2014. I even wear some of my OG trial fitting garments to this day. Forever grateful for the advice over the years and the use of the garments both in the past and for years to come!

After following the brand and being a customer for several years, I finally had the opportunity to schedule a meeting with AoS's founder Dan for a consultation on expanding my wardrobe. Dan had been one of my inspirations when I first became interested in men's style and it was a momentous experience to get his personal advice.

Our zoom meeting began with introductions and I instantly knew I was in great hands. Dan was laid back and easy to chat with but his experience and keen eye for style was obvious. We quickly summarized what I already owned and how it worked with my lifestyle. From there, Dan was able to immediately able to identify the gaps in my wardrobe. We discussed several ideas and he was able to synthesize my original intentions with his experience and sense of style.

The following day, Dan sent me his proposed list of items custom tailored for what I wanted and needed. I greatly appreciated that he took not only my feedback in style but also financial constraints. At no point was there any pressure to make and extra sale and Dan was able to present options that felt as though there was no compromise.

I greatly admire Dan and the AoS team's sense of style and strive towards the core values of the brand: quality, versatility, longevity, and individual personality. I own pieces from their original collection and throughout their evolution. And I'm excited to say that the brand, along with the garments, have gotten better with age. Looking forward to receiving the finished garments and realizing the vision that Dan and I put together.

The quality in the construction as well as the fabric is excellent. The fit of the garment is fantastic as well once you get it dialed in. Sometimes the website and the account page can be a little glitchy but Nikki is amazingly fast to respond with any customer service issues. I keep reaching for my Articles of Styles stuff over and over again.

I was really unhappy with the final fit and they were really poor about communication. I had to spend 100s on tailoring after I received it and they never offered to reimburse. Do not recommend.

I couldn’t be any happier with the service or product. Picking out my garment and placing an order was simple and easy, and all the information and support from AoS helped me make my decision with confidence. When I received my garment, I was happy to put something on that was exactly what I ordered and expected. I’ve been enjoying it ever since, and am excited to keep maturing my wardrobe as I go forward.

My service and overall experience with Articles of Style were great. The suit fit well too.

The reason why my review rates them only four stars instead of five is because, in hindsight, I don’t love the fabric I chose for the suit. It looked good in a small sample but not so great as an entire suit. My fault but still the result is suboptimal.

I still recommend AOS to others especially for those who are hard to fit in typical off-the-rack suits. The prices are not cheap but the quality is high based on my experience.

Always a pleasure doing business with AOS. I have purchased two 3 piece suits, a Mac and now 4 polos from them and everything is of the highest quality with perfect service. Couldn’t ask for more!
