I absolutely love my AOS suit! I had two suits before my AOS suit, both bought from online "custom" tailors in the $300-$700 range. At the time I thought the suits were pretty good, though I had to get both tailored for about $150 each once they arrived. When I got engaged I decided that I wanted a really nice custom suit that I would feel like a million bucks in. After doing a ton of research I decided on Article of Style. I went with the Rust colored Performance Hopsack.

I was so surprised by the fitting process, they mailed me a "try-on" suit - it was like a really simple unfinished suit made of a navy fabric with pants and a vest. Then I just had my fiance take photos of me in it and that was it. The try on suit already fit really well just based on the questions I answered on the AOS website. I didn't even have to mail the try-on back, I ended up covering the jacket with feathers and using it for a halloween costume!

When I finally got my suit, I couldn't believe how well it fit and how nice the fabric felt. I finally understood what I'd been missing out on. The hopsack never feels tight or constraining and it hardly ever wrinkles, even when I pack my suit in a checked bag! Also, this is the first suit I've ever ordered online that I didn't have to take to a tailor before wearing.

My wedding was last March and I am so pleased with how good I looked. I got so many compliments that my wife complained that more people were talking about my suit than her dress! I can't recommend this company highly enough, I'm so happy with my purchase.

I'm already looking at other pieces I can buy to wear with my suit and looking at getting a second suit even though I don't really need one, lol.

The articles of style team were incredibly attentive and worked with me to create a beautful tuxedo that I used for my good friend's wedding. I have used a few bespoke options and AoS stands above the crowd.

The initial planning and the final product were excellent. At first we were worried that tuxedo would not arrive on time for wedding, but it did and it was gorgeous

if you ask me what swatches to bring to a trunk show, bring the swatches. would've ordered at the trunk show, instead had to wait to view the swatches.

don't wait a month after my order to tell me the fabric is no longer available

if i ask you the status of my order, can you be more responsive than 2 weeks

fit issues were not what i was expecting based upon the press, you get and put out.

despite whatever issues you're going through, you do have competitors, in my case, i'm afraid they won.

Loved the end product, however the fulfillment process was sub-optimal. There weren’t enough status updates to help me understand when the product would be finished and delivered. Attempts to contact the customer service team left me wanting a higher end touch for a premium product.

AOS has always done quality work and I cant speak highly enough about their workmanship and materials and the overall sales experience.

The lower score is strictly when it comes to order completion time (which has consistently been 4-6 months for me over several orders) and fulfillment. I had a tux shirt sent which never even showed up for my event(never showed up at all) and while the rest of my order (a tux) did show up it took nearly 6 months to do so which was right before said event leaving little time for alterations.

Sucked. Horrible experience.

I told the dude originally that virtual was garbage and this was before the plandemic and everything was done virtually because the people are lazy and my shacket was poorly fitted and so was a vest.

I would not recommend these people to my worst enemy.

Save your hard earned money and go to an actual tailor fellas.
