A Star Tutoring is a trusted, results-driven tuition provider supporting learners across Staffordshire and throughout the UK. We specialise in GCSE Maths and English tuition, Science tuition, 11+ preparation and A Level support, helping students build the knowledge, confidence and exam skills needed to succeed. In addition, we offer primary tuition, medical entrance exam preparation, group revision programmes and tailored home education support. We work with learners aged 6–18, including those who may have lost confidence in education as well as those aiming for high academic achievement. Our approach is personalised and structured, ensuring each learner receives targeted support based on their individual needs. We focus not only on improving grades, but also on developing strong study habits, independent learning skills and long-term academic confidence. We work closely with parents and, where required, schools, providing regular feedback and clear progress tracking. Our programmes are designed to deliver measurable outcomes, with many students achieving significant improvements in both attainment and confidence. maths tutoring

Our daughter has been attending A Start Tutoring for a couple of months to brush up on her maths. We can already see signs of progress. Not only has she been able to make good steps towards filling in some lacunae in her learning, but she is also feeling a lot more confident and approaches maths with much more assurance. We are very pleased with the level of attention and care she has received from Abdul and the rest of the team. Communication has been great. This is a very positive learning environment, and we are happy to see our child flourishing.

I honestly can’t recommend them highly enough

My son has been receiving Maths tuition with A Star Tutoring for the past year, and I honestly can’t recommend them highly enough. His confidence and ability have improved significantly, his grades have gone up, and he’s even moved up a set in his year group. The support and teaching have made a real difference.

Very positive experience

We have been thrilled with A star tutoring for our son who loved maths at primary school but has started to struggle and lose his confidence in secondary. He is attending sessions once a week in Newcastle and his confidence and ability is growing. We can see his progress and he is a lot less stressed about maths now.
I really like the informal set up at the office in Newcastle creating a relaxed learning environment. We would highly recommend.
