ATK were completely fantastic from start to finish. The finish was particularly telling I thought. Our van arrived late in the afternoon and all the staff who had already completed their assignments for the day turned up to assist the final team in their unloading and heavy carrying. It was a great example of esprit de corps, defined I see as "a feeling of pride and mutual loyalty shared by the members of a group". Spot on.

My experience with ATK was very smooth from start to finish: the house visit took place within days of me calling, the visit itself took 30 mns, they were very clear on the dates when they could collect and then deliver. They packed fragile items competently and navigated French and Swiss customs without me having to do very much. They were easy to deal with and pleasant throughout.

Excellent service from start to finish. Packing was quick, efficient but careful. Unloading was the same - with every box being taken to where it should have been. Past experiences with other movers have been a disaster. ATK were brilliant. I thoroughly recommend them.

The ATK team worked with us to pack and move our house, nothing was too much trouble and they made a stressful move seem so simple. We had had a very stressful time getting our sale and onward purchase over the line and needed a removals company at short notice for our move. Our property was in a remote location with very limited access needing removal companies to be pragmatic and proactive to get the job done. We contacted ATK who were sympathetic to our situation and, where other companies had made a bit of a fuss about the access to our property and been rather negative, ATK just came up with a plan and got on with it.

They came to pack our house contents the day before loading was to begin and were friendly, professional, and packed everything very well.

On the day of loading they brought a big team to deal with the challenges of our tricky access and got all hands to the pump. Dan was very calm with us and his team, making clear what he needed from us, but generally just getting things done with his team in an efficient manor with little fuss.

On the day of the actual move the last few items were loaded quickly allowing us time to give everything a final clean in preparation for the new owners. Dan and has team showed great patience whilst we had to wait longer than expected for the keys to the new house, and once we had access they cheerfully got to work. Critically, even though it was already a longer day than planned, they made sure we were happy with where everything had been put and took there time to check everything rather than rushing off at the first opportunity.

House moves are always difficult and challenging times; ATK provided a top class service which inspired confidence and took pressure off us at such a hectic and stressful time, for which my family are genuinely appreciative. This personable and professional family-run company are well worth considering if you are moving house and need a removals firm.

From the moment I contacted ATK about our move I was impressed by their friendly and professional approach. Both Adam and Dan were very helpful and went out of their way to make sure my move went smoothly as my husband had very recently died. Before the staff left my new home they made sure all the furniture was exactly where I wanted it to be and they moved everything carefully and efficiently. I recommend ATK highly.

We had a big move up to Scotland from Wales. Masses of stuff which was all beautifully packed up and everything arrived where it was expected and was unloaded without incident. Altogether a painless and good experience helped by extremely nice and polite boys.

There are removal companies and then there's ATK !!! This was the second time I have used the company to move us and they are still delivering the same (if not better..) very high standard of service as they did d 3 yrs ago. I cannot fault them in anyway (they may not be the cheapest but quality is always worth paying extra for) and everyone involved was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Thankyou so much ATK

Positive experience. A two day move needed to be spread over a weekend but they understood our requirements and helped greatly in packing and then unloading at the other end.

People often warn you off from using local removal firms. Suffice it to say, that would have been wholly wrong in this case.
From start to finish, dealing with Adam and the team was a pleasure. The administration was efficient - but undemanding. At all times we were clear about the programme and ATK's expectations.
When the move started, the packing process was brilliant - Anthony and Alex worked carefully and hard throughout an increasingly warm day. The loading the following day was clearly hard work, but everyone remained focussed and calm and good-humoured. Having travelled for the whole of the previous day, arriving in Tyneside only as Wales scored their first goal against Turkey, Adam, Alex and Justin (+guitar) appeared on time for the delivery, and had completed the task, with no damage at all - challenging at times - by mid-afternoon.
All that can be said is Thank You to each member of the team, from two very grateful Scottish Borderers!!!

An excellent service. We had to move a large house with short notice. The team provided us all the materials we needed and did a fantastic job of disassembling and protecting our glass furniture and mirrors. The move was over 3 days and prior to the Bank Holiday weekend. The team worked hard right up to late on the Friday night. Awkward items were located (and relocated when we changed our minds!) without fuss or complaint. I would not hesitate to recommend ATK. Hopefully we won't be moving again, or for a long time, but if we did ATK would be my first port of call. Thank you team.
