Grace, the receptionist at Hidden Hearing (Hull City Centre) was very friendly / welcoming. Mandy (the lady who I’d had my appointment with) was absolutely brilliant! She was very friendly / caring. She’d explained everything to me before my appointment, putting me at ease & was chatty during my appointment. VERY positive experience with Hidden Hearing, no complaints whatsoever.

I went to Hidden Hearing in Hull and was treated by a lovely, kind and patient ear care practitioner called Mandy. My wax was really hard to get out Mandy explained every step to make sure I was comfortable. I would definitely recommend Mandy to anyone having hearing problems. Have booked in for six months time

Because off work (drilling) next door to shop Rosie came to my flat.she explained a number of things .very interesting.

Went into the Hull branch because my ear felt blocked. Due to availability, someone saw me for free to determine if it was wax build up. Booked me in for an appointment to have it removed and was all sorted within a week. All the staff there are incredibly friendly and the removal was quick and painless. Incredible service.

Excellent customer service. Atmosphere, reception and instructions were all clear. Very satisfied. Would recommend.

Just been for ear wax removal with Mandy, explained everything very thoughly. Quite painless would highly recommend.

A very friendly lady who conducted the proceedings professionally and in a way that I could understand everything easily and without pressing for a sale.

Free hearing test did not happen, I ended up paying £50 to have earwax removed I was handed a 10ml spray of olive oil to use twice a day for 3 weeks and an appointment was made for today, 21/03, 10:25am for the wax removal. I was held up at work so called them at 9:45asking if I could be late or a later appointment today, I was advised that the next appointment would be 8th April, my job involves sitting at a computer for 12 hours a shift with headphones on. Having virtually no hearing in my right ear, another 3 weeks of spraying olive oil twice a day is not acceptable for that length of time. I asked for my money to be refunded because I hadn’t received any sort of service from them at all. They then said I was advised of the £50 charge at the time of my first appointment. My first appointment was supposed to be free and I didn’t know anything about the £50 until she said before the hearing test I would need a wax removal. So the only advisement I got was about two minutes notice before they took the £50 off my card. They then went on to tell me that sometimes wax cannot be removed, I totally agree with that statement because an attempt has to be made before they can remove it and that didn’t happen. Before this debacle began I was prepared to have to pay more than £1000 to have a decent hearing aid. I have ended up with having no test, no wax removal and a bottle of £50 olive oil that wouldn’t even be enough to fry a single chip. They shouldn’t be called hidden hearing they should be renamed hidden speaking because they don’t tell you what they end up taking off you after turning up for the free hearing test. I also think they have a parent company called hidden costs

Greeted nicely and given coffee and biscuits on arrival. Audiologist, Ben, was thorough and explained how each part of the tests, checked each part of my ears.
The product offered was very good and I'm just awaiting funding.

I had ear wax removal at the Hull Branch and Mandy was great and informative on the procedure prior. It didn’t fully all come out on one visit and with help and advice and the second time being free it was absolutely fine on the second attempt. No pain, just straight forward. And then had a free earring test. I will definitely recommend

Sophie Kingham was pleasant, she was very professional. I was not impressed with the reception area of the SPA, Bridlington who did nothing to assist. I asked where to go he said "just wait anywhere". I had to ring the Hull office so that they could let Sophie know that we were there. She was put right at the back of the building.

Just visited Hidden Hearing Hull, good experience. I had some anxiety about my hearing and contacted the branch about having it checked. Found my hearing is normal for my age group although I do have a little wax. So, good result for me. Quite interesting too. It was straightforward to organize, contacted hidden hearing, booked a time and date and that was it.

Sophie the audiologist and the lady on reception were both friendly and put me at ease. It’s quite a similar experience to having your eyes tested I think. It’s a very clean environment, bright, comfortable and they even made me a cuppa which was appreciated.

Location is easy to find. It’s like a shopfront, right in the middle of Hull city centre, opposite the Hull Cheese pub.

I attended hidden hearing at Hull Mandy was very patient and informative on removing stubborn ear wax from both ears and I think she is credit to the company.

Just had my very first hearing test so wasn't sure what to expect. From the point of booking my appointment last week to attending today in Hull, the staff were lovely and friendly and the environment warm and welcoming. Each step of the process was explained as we went along and there was absolutely nothing 'sales-y' about the experience whatsoever. Given that it's nigh on impossible to get a referral from the NHS currently and that other companies who do carry out hearing tests (but are primarily known for eyesight tests) charge for this service, it's an absolute no-brainer to choose Hidden Hearing for a free hearing
test.

I care for my father, who had a particularly large build up of wax, which the GP said they could do nothing directly about. I found hidden hearing and firstly, the service they provide is always with a smile, and they take their time. Secondly as a carer, I felt included and informed about the procedure and this made my father feel more comfortable. Mandy was patient and considerate throughout his appointment, and although my father was a difficult case, she didn't try to capitalise on his case. At all times I felt he was in very capable hands. Highly recommend
