I stupidly placed a order with this company thinking it was going to a better experience then the first time I ordered with them. Wrong. I was shipped the wrong fish then what I ordered and 1 DOA fish. Emailed them with a good picture of the dead fish and why did I receive the wrong species of fish. Response was they needed a better picture of the dead fish and supposedly I was to specify no substitutions some where in the ordering process. So the subs are advertised less money then the fish ordered still waiting. Never again will I order from these people. Also delivery is priced high to make a profit from you.

This place is a complete and total scam. They say that they have celebes halfbeaks in stock and I emailed to confirm. I said no substitution. They literally sent me all wrestling halfbeaks. They even arrived half dead. They will not return my emails. Do not gamble on this place! Insane shipping fee too. This place should be shut down.

These guys should be charge with mail faud. Almost a month and they can't fulfill your order. Love that they have a no cancllation poilcy. How about do your business properly.

Do not do business with this store! Live fish guarantee is a lie. I paid the extra shipping cost $80, to qualify for their live fish guarantee. When half my fish arrived dead they denied a refund and only offered store credit where I would need to pay another $80 shipping fee. The condition of the fish almost seemed like they sent me dead fish. Water in the bags was cloudy and smelled horrible. They are happy to recite, that their shipping policy is posted to read before purchasing any fish. How true, hope you are reading this before you give them any of your money.

I ordered some snails and loaches from these guys. Like most everyone else here, I was impressed with their inventory. After adding the snails to the pond, only one survived for a day or two. When I notified the seller, they made it seem like it was my fault. So, I ordered the same species of snails from another seller and even though several(maybe 10 out of a hundred)did not survive, the rest of them are thriving and growing. Same results with the loaches. I ordered five and none survived more than a week. From another seller, five out of five are alive and growing. I learned my lesson the hard way. Never again! Customer service = none existent.

Ordered plants and fish. The plants were acceptable, the fish were horrible. Smaller, not what was ordered, one was egg bound. Customer service was short, ineffective, and of no value. Avoid at all costs!

Avoid this seller at all costs. I am an experienced breeder and ordered 18 snakeskin barbs. It took over a month for the fish to ship. When they eventually arrived,5 of these were dead on arrival (Next day air shipping). All but 6 were dead within 24 hours. Thankfully I always use an established isolation tank when I receive new fish.

I reached out to the seller and they would only give store credit for the 5 DOAs as a replacement. No refunds.

I used that credit to order 8 shrimp. When the shrimp arrived (which was within a week of the order). I only received 6 shrimp, 2 of which should have been culled due to color quality and should never have been shipped to a customer.

Overall this was a horrible experience.The sellers communication is terrible, the quality is trash and I wouldn't recommend this business for any reason.

I ordered 2 figure eight puffer fish.
I eventually got them both ALIVE and healthy!
They wouldn't respond to my emails though..

Absolutely horrible and atrocious company! I ordered discus fish from them. I received one fish, that's it. No assorted pack like advertised. Absolutely terrible condition and dead within their 4 hour window. The fins on the fish were damaged and looked as if it had been attacked prior to shipping. The package was not labeled life fish or anything of the sort. The condition of the fish was upsetting and frustrating, especially given that they are not cheap fish at all. There is no way to contact these people except by email, which good luck getting a response. I wish I had seen reviews prior to trying this company. Do yourself a favor and do not use these folks at all. You will receive dead fish.

DOA and will not honor warranty. Hope they choke on my money!

Contrary to the claim on their home page, you are anything but a "friend." Normal people and business's actually communicate with their "friends."

I strongly urge any prospective customers to read the reviews and take them to heart when considering dealing with this company. I was fooled by the flowery vernacular and lengthy disclaimer posted on the “contact us” page. This disclaimer speaks of their process and that they will only ship on certain days so to avoid the packages sitting over a weekend. You are refer you to view the shipping schedule prior to attempting any inquiry. Spoiler alert- the schedule is Tuesdays and Wednesdays only. Then the only option provided is to contact the company is via email. However; when you send an email, you are notified that they try to answer the emails within 48 hours but have taken up to 5 days. Looking at past reviews, it appears 5 days is more on the faster side of responses. I conducted a review search and found a link that provided a phone number; however, that leads to an international call center where you have 2 options. 1 buy more unrelated stuff or 2, not talk to an actual person in the company who will hang up on you. I foolishly placed a $150.00 order with AZ Gardens on Jan 24, 25. They were quick to process my funds, then provided an auto response email verifying they received my request and took my money. Two weeks later, and no follow up communications nor receiving my purchased items. I inquire into the status of my order via my profile. Under my profile, I find an undated invoice reading as having a status of “completed.” It was then that I started researching the reviews and looking for a phone number to contact them. I discovered the only option being the email which I sent, then the disclaimer about the timeframe for response. They did not respond within the first 24 hours. Upon further searching I found the number provided on a different website leading to the call center. This was wreaking of being a scam. I eventually sent a demanding email canceling my order and requesting a refund on threat that if I do not receive a response within the 48 hours I would be taking legal actions. Low and behold, they finally responded within an hour of sending the email. - proof they read them… they just choose to ignore you. The response was “order canceled, order refunded.” There is no semblance of a interested legit business person in operation here. No explanations, no attempts to mitigate, not even a hint towards an apology. The flowery persona is a complete ruse. Your money is their only interest. If I could give less than a star rating, it would be given as very well deserved. Be warned.

Do not order from azgardens. They are very rude and do not respond. The fish were DOA and never resent the order as they promised. They are also a very small family and not as big as advertised online. Avoid buying from them.

Charged $39 to ship seeds. The order weighed 4 ounces. They would not cancel the order even though I contacted them instantly after the order. I wish I had read reviews before ordering.

The worst place ever. Poor health of the fish. The packaging didn’t say live fish. So my mail person just put the poor fish in the mail box at 90 degrees day.

Ordered 5 neon tetras. 4 were dead, and the other one died the next day. Sent a message to company about it, and they never responded.

I just ordered some fish from there - what a mistake. I wish I had seen all the negative reviews earlier. 6 of the 30 fish I ordered died within a day, but outside their 4 hour allowed window, so they denied my request for reimbursement. As the other commenters have said:

Amazing company. I don’t seem to know why people are saying this is a scam? Or how bad it is. I order Vampire crabs! And they came in super great condition! I bought them for my nephew!! And they did an excellent job packaging and mailing it to me! I received the package in 2 DAYS!!! That’s SUPER FAST!

I want to thank Azgardens.com for their service and will be purchasing more in the future!

After waiting over a week to even send my order, the plants arrived so badly rotting that I could literally smell it through the box in the post office- it smelled like salad left way too long in the fridge. About 75% of the order had to be thrown away, it was so disappointing.

Took my money and never shipped my order.
