Sells inferior MX8 parts as a "GENUINE" Zodiac Tune-Up Kit in bags.

I chose this merchant because of the assertion on the product page that this *kit* is “GENUINE”. As soon as I opened the bubble packed envelope, it was immediately obvious that these items were not of the expected quality and did not bear the familiar Zodiac trademark. When asked how they’d like to remedy the issue the response was, “They are Jandy parts, but if you don’t like them, return them for a refund” Knowing these were not “GENUINE” Jandy/Zodiac parts I set out to contact Fluidra (The parent company) and was told in no uncertain terms that if a merchant wasn’t on the provided list, I would not be buying “GENUINE” parts for my MX8. In short order I returned the items and true to their word they refunded the purchase price minus 20% (For no particular reason other than they could). Fortunately, I used Amazon Pay to complete the transaction. Amazon made it very easy to get the missing 20% back, so I’m only out $6.45 for the return shipping. At this point I should point out that this was NOT the customary kit from Zodiac in a single box bearing the part number R0796200. This was a collection of poor quality parts packed in two poly envelopes. My bad. Had I not been in a hurry and looked more closely at what I was buying, I would’ve spent the extra money for the real deal. In short, ”Don’t do it. Just don’t do it.”

COMPANY CANCELLED ORDER BECAUSE THEY "DON'T WANT TO DO BUSINESS" WITH ME.
I'm not often moved to spend a lot of time logging into sites to post reviews about vendors, but this one takes the cake.

OK, here goes. I wanted to buy a part for my pool heater, and I called Best Pool Shop (bestpoolshop.com) in Los Angeles, California, to inquire about warranty details and availability. The person I spoke to was immediately rude and hostile to my inquiry. Somehow I was an idiot for asking about the warranty from the manufacturer. They could have said politely, 'sorry, I don't have that info." I said 'OK, thanks' in an unhappy tone and hung up. No angry words were spoken by me, however. A very weird experience.

Next, I placed an order for that same part from AZ Pools on their website. The order was accepted and confirmed. A short time later I got a notice saying that the order was cancelled and refunded. I emailed AZ and asked if the item was out of stock. The reply was, "No, we just don't want to do business with you"! I replied to this message with the question, "Why in the world not?" The answer I got was "You keep proving that we did the right thing!"

Seeing as how I had no previous communication with AZ Pools (supposedly in Arizona), and they just had my bare bones website order with no added comments by me, I concluded that this individual also owns/controls both Best Pool Shop and AZ Pools-otherwise, how could he be hostile to my order? What kind of business turns down a $250 order? What kind of business gets so quickly hostile on a phone call about such an order?

Poor customer service & packaging

Order a replacement cell for my Jandy salt system. The item arrived rattling around in a large box. Upon opening the salt cell was just placed loose in the box with no packing material to secure it. Their customer service was rude and argumentative at best. I suggest buying elsewhere.

Ordered a diverter pool valve and they sent in a paper envelope with no cushioning. This should have been sent in a box or at least a padded envelope. Not surprising that upon install discovered that the housing was cracked. This is what happens when you don't properly package your products. The worse part is that they could really care less. Less than negative customer support. Horrible! Avoid this place.

Aquastar Leaf filter HWN 162

The color of the Item depicted on their website was not what I received, I received the correct TYPE of item but wrong color.
Called 213-425-4152 and spoke with a phone representative, who proceeded to argue that the color of the product is gray, I tried to converse to him that this was incorrect ,as on the photo on the website shows white, so i thought I was purchasing a white leaf caniste. The conversation got heated. He then hung up on me and did not try to resolve what I was calling about in the first place.

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever! I should have read the reviews on them before I ordered from this vendor. I had ordered a small part that they allegedly sent via USPS with tracking and insurance. The USPS showed it was scanned as delivered but I never received it. It was to be delivered to a locked cluster box but it was not there, nor in any of the other boxes when I inquired with the carrier. When I spoke to the vendor they blamed it on mail theft but that was not possible. They were not willing to work with me to get the part. Accused me of committing fraud if I refuted the charge on my credit card. Wanted me to do all the work in trying to get the USPS involved in investigating the missing package and making a lost package claim. I ended up refuting the charge after experiencing their belligerent attitude. We had an unpleasant exchange of expletives with them when they were not willing to work with me to get the part. In the meantime I put in a service request with the USPS to see if they could find the missing package. They can have it back as far as I am concerned as I will never order anything from them again. I went ahead and ordered the part elsewhere.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE- BEWARE

I Ordered a part from AZpoolshop because they were cheapest. I did receive an email the next day that it had shipped. After a couple of days the tracking still showed “package acceptance pending” so I reached out and was told give it a day for the tracking to update. Ok sure. After 5 days and the tracking still saying the same I reached out again asking for an update. This is when I got blasted with the AZpoolshop policy hi-lighted in yellow that states they are not responsible for delays in shipping and a rude response of “I already stated it was shipped”. I looked up the post office and there were 3 facilities in the zip code so I asked if someone could tell me which facility it was taken to so I myself could follow up and ensure my package wasn’t lost at the facility or something since it wasn’t moving. I got ignored from this point with no responses. I tried calling USPS and was to the point of opening up a fraud claim with my bank when the part FINALLY came. The next day I got a nasty email from AZpoolshop asking if I believed them now that they shipped my package. I responded that the email was unprofessional and unnecessary. They continued to harass and argue with me that I was the one being rude for asking about shipping so much! UNBELIEVABLE!!! Jaw dropping pure nastiness!! What kind of a company continues to blast their customers with mean messages when they just wanted proof of shipping when tracking was showing otherwise lost?? I don’t care if they are cheaper it’s a gamble if you get the product and I would spend more money to not be hounded by nasty employees after my item came.

Fast shipping

Website was easy to use. Part was accurately described. Free shipping was amazingly fast. Received my order 3 days later, including the weekend. Very satisfied.

SCAM business

They shipped the wrong item and will not send a label to return it and refund it.
Their email to me is that "we sent you the correct item" and that "further emails will not be responded to".
I ordered a very specific part (with part number and manufacturer) and they sent me an after market part that does not fit at all. Not even same measurements.
Thieves.

You broke it during installation and due to wrong installation!
We did not send a broken item to you.
You broke it and YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IT!
EVEN THE MANUFACTURER WILL NOT DO ANYTHING SINCE THE PART WAS NOT BROKEN AND YOU BROKE IT.
IF THE PART WHERE BROKEN, IT WOULD FELL APART AS YOU SHOWED IN THE PICTURE AND ONLY A STUPID PERSON WOULD INSTALL IT AND I DON'T THINK THAT YOU ARE STUPID FOR SURE.
SO TAKE THE RESPONSIBILITY.
Sure you can get a refund, if you return our product back in the very same unbroken condition that you received.

Great prices, fast shipping.

I'm not sure why this company has all of these bad reviews. I've been buying from them for years and have had nothing but a good experience. Excellent pricing and shipping times that rivals Amazon. Maybe their warehouse is close to me in Wellington FL. I would highly recommend this company.

No Warranty

I purchased a pool valve that failed in less than 60 days. They said: Our return policy is for 30 days.
You may contact the manufacturer and see if they have a warranty on it." Well, so they don't warrant expensive and complex pool parts. The manufacturer can't be contacted because it's an offshore made knock off. Worse, AZ's website doesn't work either. I don't know if they are a scam or just a bad company to do business with.

Worst customer service ever!

This company has by far the worst customer service! When I had a problem with a $1,000 part that I purchased from them that was within the one year warranty their response was "what do you want me to do about it" then I was told that I was blacklisted from their company and could never make another purchase from them which is fine because I would never buy from them again! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

Do not buy from this company

Do not buy from this company. They are not trustworthy, nor do they have business ethics. Pay a few bucks and support a different company that cares about customers.

We purchased an item and within 30 days of the return policy, was told by our pool guy it was not working.

We called 2 days after, and were told that the call was outside 30 days, and to call the Manufacturer. They did not count that February only has 28 days.

Then, they lied and said it had to be back to them within 30 days, taunting me that I could not do it. However, that is different than the return policy on their website. It states to get a RMA number within 30 days and mail back within 2 weeks of getting it.

Like I said, if you are about doing business with honorable services you can trust, pay a few extra bucks and navigate away from this company.
